If they tune a stock engine NA car to 215 rwhp you should definitely go for the fireworks that will follow shortly...



I might be interested in a dyno day. Very dependent on SCCA racing and CDC autoX schedules.

 

You really think a NA renesis can not achieve 215rwhp? I mean if a all stock can do 180-185rwhp 215 is not that much of an increasement.

Besides having a good tune, mid pipe, high flowing exhaust, upgraded ignition, and either revi/AEM what else would be needed to at least get close?

 

i wouldnt mind 215hp at all.. i think with the rev-i intake and 3" catless exhaust, it shouldnt be that hard.. i cant wait for all the fire ***** shooting out the Single HKS Exhaust dont get to close llol

rory's civic is a darker version of sky blue....it's hard to describe, not quite turquoise.....

200whp is a very strong rx8.

215whp is really damn incredible.

225whp are the race rx8s.

im not saying its not possible. im saying if there is a shop in md that can do 215whp, sign me up.

oh yeah, they are the hardest to find. Good luck. I do like LY 8's though wish there were more.

 

I have found a few that fit my standards....but I don't have the money for them right now...

I was also contemplating getting a BB and painting it yellow...that ways the firewall and interior frames etc. will match my yellow black theme

 

if youre going to paint it lightning yellow, you should try to save up for a v2. I don't know of any LY series 2's yet. (might be cost-prohibitive, though)

 

LY hasnt been made since 04. I doubt their ever bringing it back.... Its a shame. But yeah getting a series 2 is the best bet. I'm really intereested in how the long the engine will last with the new mechanical changes.

 

Yeah I was considering getting a series 2 BB would be the best bet for painting it yellow.

But if I can't get that, I may get a crystal white....or WWP (whichever white if for series 2 lol)....and get rims that offset the lack of colour...
