Whats up MDers, moved to the area a few months ago, just got a silver 04. Live just north of Southern Ave and Suitland pkwy in DC, so don't live in MD but travel through it every day (for about 30 seconds lol). Drove up to Kent Island a couple weeks ago and saw 2 8's, one red and one blue. So glad to see that there's a nice rotary presence around here. Hope to see some of you ridin around

I don't live in MD either, but I hang out with mostly MD 8 owners (even though I don't own one...SHOOSH GREG! I'm getting there!)

Welcome to town. I'm not on the forums as much as I'd like and I have yet to make it to a meet, but if you're in DC, you're bound to see me eventually, I spend all day driving MD/DC/VA. Mine's a black 04 w/ black wheels. Gimme a waive if you spot me. I'll do the same.

With all the hate that came after your post, I don know why I am admitting this, but that was me. My wife put the wreath on my car one morning before I went to work and never bothered to take it off. I only took it off last week.

Today is truly a sad day. Well, I guess everything is relative. I got engaged a few months ago and just recently decided we wanted to buy a house while the time was right. With that said, I decided to sell my 8 for some down payment money. So, my question to you locals is, besides posting it in the for sale section of the board does anyone know of anyone looking to purchase a 04 VR with 48k miles, Borla Cat Back, RB intake, HID's Fogs, LED parking, Red LED interior, and a not yet installed set of headers? If so let me know, gotta get rid of this before I pick it over the girl/house jk.

 

I'll keep an eye out for anyone you could sell it to. How much are you looking for it? I'm assuming it is a MT?

BTW, where are you in germantown? We can always trade some parts & get you back to stock...for the sake of the sale, of course. ;-)

if so, that really sucks when life kicks in.

If you have stock parts you should put those back on, as it will be easier to sell and part out your mods.

You should be able to get a good 500-600 off of your exhaust and about 300 from your revi

 

Yes, it is a MT. I'm hoping to get $13,500 for it with the low miles, clean condition, and Mods.

 

Indeed, I got it in March. I still have the stock Exhaust so I could put that back on and sell the Borla I guess. I don't think I could find all the stock intake parts anymore but I guess I could sell it to someone for Cash + Stock and do the swap right then in person. And even install it for them if they need it
