Maryland People!
No Lowes I guess sponsors the Car Show. They allow the people to use their back lot for the Car Show as long as they follow the rules. It usually get pretty good turn outs on nice days.
Abingdon. Right. NOT Aberdeen. My bad.
Last Friday there were probably more than 80 cars. Almost year-round somebody will show up if there isn't snow on the ground or a monsoon. Official event is during the Summer proper.
As for American muscle: Corvettes, Chevelles, and Rustangs are like a**holes - everybody's got one there!
New Camaros and Challengers are quickly getting that way, and they are all stock!
I'm an old dude (by the standards of the forum, anyway) and I like seeing the unusual stuff. Like the '59 DeSoto wagon, new GT-R, Delorean, '68 Charger, the odd Turbo Regal. A mint old MG straight-six convertible showed up last Friday too. It was perfect inside and out. You could clearly see why the British shouldn't build cars...

Sorry Greg. Snooze you lose.
I tried to make a deal on the ducts and radiator together, but he declined, then sold the radiator out from under me before I could get back to him. I snoozed and lost.
Not sure the 8 even really needs the ducts, as the brakes are huge and pretty well ventilated anyway. Even with Konis and sticky tires I couldn't get them to fade, and the HP+ gave me enough power to overpower the rubber and get into ABS anytime I wanted. Maybe I can trade you for those slick aux radiators and stuff...

Depending on how bad I get screwed at work tomorrow (Hawaiian shirt day. I'm living Office Space...) and get to sleep tonight, there's a good chance I'm going to Lowes tomorrow evening.
Ought to take the CYM and irritate all the old guys in Chevelles.

Yeah, you'll hear me coming.
Beautiful day, likely to stay that way. I'll probably get there between 6:30 and 7:00 depending on schmucks traffic. My 8 is filthy and completely stock appearing, I won't go in the show. Unless there are half-a-dozen other 8s there.

Nice to meet both Greg and Klanham08 at the Lowe's Friday. Keith's car is sharp and Greg's car is ultra-razor-sharp. Learned a lot shooting the breeze with Greg for something like two hours.
Love the semi-custom big happy-face nose, Greg. Not a fan of the MS or RB noses because they lose the Mazda identity, but yours keeps it and makes it bigger! And the power is, well, huge and completely smooth! Thanks for the ride.
Got the RE-medy water pump and thermostat to install this week. Along with maybe the cheesy-but-effective Lo-Tek gauge pod. And finally a gutted stock cat. With that I should be able to try the two-anti-foulers on the 02 sensor, else I'm going to have to blow $700 on a Cobb just to pass emissions... >-(
Then with any luck I'm off to the FATT this Friday at Summit Point Shenandoah.

For the O2 sensor bung, try one first and go for a run it shouldnt throw a code, mine doesnt,,,
Thanks for the compliments on the bumper, alot of planning a work went into it and its nice to hear it was appreciated...
Your car sounded great when you reved it up,,, it should sound even better and more raw when you put on the mid pipe,,,

(Without accidentally unhooking a leading plug like the last time I was shooting flames...)

Er, you weren't welding anything galvanized, were you? There's a thing an old-timer used to call "hepazudics" but is more commonly know as "metal fume fever". It's acute (but usually not permanently damaging) zinc poisoning. Symptoms are just like the flu.
huh, thats wierd mine hasnt at all,,, and it is an Ebay bung spacer,,
