Landon well now i have a fresh running car.. i would like to take it to the track and see what it can do in a quater mile.. :-D.. My seven is going to be in the process of getting a bunch of upgrades since i'm not driving it that often.. it can sit under the knife for long time.. :-D

whew, i just spent $ 700 this weekend on a Espelir Exhaust, RB intake, and some clear corners. not bad though considering the intake and the clear corners were brand new. cant wait till they're installed.

guys need opinion....if you had the money would you really wait for the axial flow? im getting impaitient looking at the sfr, ptp, and mazsport kits.which one would you pick if they were all free? take into consideration this is my first tunr, i have avid knowledge of cars, 04 manual 33k miles. the car right now is completely stock. but i do have a bunch of parts, just havent installed them yet.

 

Thats a crap shoot, the reason the others are not released is because they are testing to make sure it works like it should. Me I would wait for the S/C because the turbo's (especially the greddy) are famous for blowing up your engine (due to bad tuning or trying too much boost). By the way I hope you have extensive knowledge of the renesis before you attempt this yourself. If you cant wait, get a professional tuner who knows the renesis to put it on and tune it for you.

Keep in mind if you blow up the engine your going to pay about 6K for a new engine and your warranty has gone to hell the second you put a turbo in.

 

believe me im trying nothing myself lol. im just taking someone the parts. not even sure who maybe gw in linthicum ...im even open to sugestions on this. i need someone whos knows what there doin....cuz i sure dont. btw im not going over 7 psi. with a proper tune as far as ecu and upgraded injectors this is ok? right? all the kits come with some kind of pre tuned ecu or are available as upgrades. i dont want to push the limits. i want 300+ horses, reliable, @7psi or lower.

 

The only way your going to get CLOSE to 300WHP is with an InterceptorX (1200 - 1500 bucks) and some serious modifications. With just a bolt on and an Emanage Ultimate expect something in the neighborhood of 260ish. The highest person I have seen is DrifterD with the greddy and hella mods with an Int.x and he only has 293RWHP @ 7LBS I think. You need to do a little homework before you go down this path man.

One other thing, Pop a PM over to a user named shawn81. Hes here in MD and is turbo's out so he should be able to give you more insight than I can.

By the way, ask people in the group or check the vendor section for referals for a tuner shop here in MD. If you get one that tries to work on your car like its a piston engine... well just be prepared to buy a new engine.

 

question. i know i asked this a while ago about tints. im plannin to get 20% tints at D & L. i was just wondering how much u guys paid for at D & L. let me know. thanks. btw, i got the Espelir JGT 5000 exhaust and the clear corners installed. i must say that im very disappointed with the stealth bulbs. another question that i have is would cops pull me over for a ticket if i were to get HID bulbs for the side markers? im planning on gettin the white ones.
