The only other thing I'm trying to figure out is where in the hell I can do my turbo install. Jeff said I would be getting my 3071R the second week of April, so I want to arrange for a place to do the install as jackstands in front of my house is not going to cut it. Does anybody know of a place I can rent some garage time? The install should be 2-3 days and my plan is to have CRH out here for the install. If you have any ideas my gratitude will be boundless.

hahahhah I have actually stopped soliciting people we have plenty and will probably fill half of Sushi Hana, pending everyone who says they are coming will actually come....
But yeah its cool to coordinate big things like this,,,
I think I spent two to three hours today sending and replying to PMs...
And besides Im tired of going to meets where twenty people sign up and 3 actually end up showing...
This way no body can bitch "thats too far away" I say "STFU and drive biatch, next month itll be in your back yard and someone else will do the driving"

Been a long work week...

Won't know if I can make it Friday until Monday or Tuesday. May not have the 8 in any case.
Similar situation as LPR, but much, much less horrible. (Feel for you, Lauren.)I've answered the PM's.
Dan, you are awesome dude, thanks so much for helping me with the gauges. I posted pics of my new gauge pod in my album and my turbo build thread. Just a few wires to run and the manifold pressure sensor and the gauges will be done.
I may not bring the toy car (looks like rain in the forecast) but I certainly would like to come and meet a few more of ya'll. Greg, like I said, I'll talk to my wife - she like sushi so there's a very good chance we'll be there.
See you on Tuesday.

So I was trying to change my snow tires for the summer ones, which are still OEM wheels, I believe. Everything went fine until the last rear wheel. I could not get the wheel on far enough to screw on the bolts, and definitely not flush with the hub surface. I notice there are plastic tabs which extend beyond the surface of the hub, and I believe those are keeping the summer wheel from fitting. I put a winter tire back on that hub.
Is there a trick to fitting the wheels on? I haven't had chance to take the other rear wheel off to check how it went on while the other didn't. I did try putting the wheel I'd put on the front on the same side on that problem hub, also with no luck.
On a separate issue, is there any sort of link between people's profiles and their garages on rx8club.com? I haven't found one.

Myself, the shades of my '81 GLC Sport, '89 "Freak" MPV (3-litre V-6 w/ 5-speed manual!) and the oh-so-lively RX-8 thank you.
NASA-MA at Summit Point for the weekend of April 25-26 has been scheduled for HPDE-1. Unlike VIR, I've yet to find a sim track for familiarization runs of Summit Point's layout.
