Team Sahlen will be testing all 3 of their RX-8 at Mid-Ohio all day next Friday, October 15, 2010. Will and Jay have once again invited the Mazda Community to attend the event. they have taken delivery of the #70 SpeedSource car (won the 2010 24 Hours of Daytona) and the car was looking exceptionally fast yesterday @ Mid-Ohio.

Team Sahlen will be there from 9:00AM-6:00PM, so feel free to come out and see what they are doing to help Mazda repeat as the Manufacturers Champion for the 2011 Grand-Am Rolex GT Series.

Hey guys just figured I'd introduce myself, just got my first 8 a few weeks ago I Absolutly love it it's an 04 w/ a Pettit supercharger and 47k. I'll put some pics up once I get a chance!

What's up guys, I too wanted to introduce myself.. I live in Reynoldsburg and go to osu, I just bought my 8 3 weeks ago.. It's an 04, Ti-Gray and I absolutely love it! Payed $5,700 for it and it only has 42k miles on it (original miles)

 

I'm actually from Pataskala myself, Reynoldsburg side (Summit Station actually). Live by campus now tho. If you see a tigray with a dinged rear driver's side driving around thats me >.> I'm out there at least every other weekend to see family.

Very nice...any chance we could get some pics of the SC? I have been toying with the idea of adding some power to my 8 and an torn between supercharging and turbocharging...also any comments on the drivability would be appreciated too.

 

i am in the newark area and i am in pataskala area all the time have family there definialty would like to chill and see that sc been looking at buying one jsut wana see how it goes before i dump teh 7gs for it lol if you see a white one running around lowerd with windowbanners like the picture thats me :D

 

hey you have tires one the stock rims? if so how much for the set i am in need of stocks since mine got stolen from my garage.

 

Ya I'll put some pics up when I get home and a's far a's drivablity it's not to bad it has a small lag in the lower Rpms(1500 and lower) and at about 2500 u can feel it boost up. If u go to pettits site u can see te power band. And no I don't have the stock tires:/ sorry.. But we should all meet up sometime!

 

yea sounds good i want a sc but its alot of cash for it :/ be nice to find a used one.

Nice, how much did that set you back? But this is a question to any/everyone- how does your 8 drive in this snow? I have some new all-seasons and I'm starting to slide.. Do snow tires make that much of a diff?

 

Not rele I still slide a lot but I think that's b/c I have a lot of power and I got the car with the SC alredy on it so idk I only paid 13k for the car...
