I had a very similar problem, except my CEL was on when it ran rough, then would go off when it warmed up. Took it to byers and they managed to fix it. I believe the main issue was a bad coilpack. First time I got it back they fixed that problem but I then had dead spot in the powerband. Its run perfect once they fixed it the 2nd time.

Also, mazda direct was out by easton, its just toyota direct now, and apparently they can't work on rotary engines (sold their tools? lol) which is probably for the best.

My car was hiding behind the woods from the direction you came tho so you wouldn't have seen it.

the meets are every other friday at 7 till whenever ill be up there more than likely each event. looking to oragnize a cruise cookout event i wana give out my number to local 8s to get quicker info out just pm me if needing it i wana get some activity going i have organized events and shows in the past and looking to get 8s some showing going on. if anyone is down pm me ill give you my number and i can get you guys down and get it done. i have a few spots for good places to do this. rising park in lancaster is good for pics and cookout. old mans cave in hocking hills. or if you guys know of any local places please do let me know. i am out of newark and in cbus often.

Hey guys! I'm a Powell resident and just bought my 8 about 2 months ago. Just wanted to see what was up and if anyone had any advice/insights into local events? Basically I'm bored and wanna waste gas with purpose...

I live in Powell too. Am always up for wasting gas with purpose or even just wasting gas. Let's meet up sometime between rain showers. I know several very cool roads along the Scioto River to the north that are fantastic for spirited driving.
