good to finally meet most of you guys, how was the autox?

 

Hi to all, I'm new to the site but a seasoned 8 owner. Looks like you folks get together often in the Columbus area. I'm from NW Indiana but I have the honor of spending next week in your territory (for work, that sucks). Since I will be driving my 8 I was wondering if you do any weekday evening drives? I will be staying in Hilliard.

 

I'd be up for a drive on Sunday if the weather is good.

AutoX was a blast. there were two Rx8 that seemed to do ok. They looked stock and they were wearing their stock Potenzas. There was a pretty sick modded C5 though.

 

Or, any weekday evening except Tuesday would work for me. Where are you staying in Hilliard?

 

Staying at the Homewood Suites. It's right next to TGIF's on Park Mill Run. I'll be there Sunday Night thru Thursday night. Been there a couple times but have never ventured to far away from the area. I have an '04 velocity red 6sp (of course) and a newly installed Racing Beat exhaust. I crunched the OEM exhaust backing into a parking space. $hit happens.

Orion are you out there? I'm looking for a ride...

 

I'll be out of town on the 14th but a couple of us stopped by the SCCA autox on April 30. Were you racing that day? We saw a red a a silver RX8 racing but we didn't know the drivers.

PS. Saw a couple of 8's along with many more exotics today at the Tire rack in South bend. About a couple hundred enthusiasts getting ready for the "one lap of America" . Pretty cool!

Sorry, Tuesday (and now Wednesday) are out for me. I could do Thursday, but you guys decide.

 

Any day is fine with me (Thursday included). Heck, I'm not at home so I have NO other commitments. Kinda nice to have it that way once in a while.
