MD hates me, I'm sure. I was just there to complain about a clanking sound coming from my front right side every time I go over a speed bump or crack. Sound only started happening after I dropped the car off for an alignment that they couldn't complete. Coincidence? No. I'm upset because I need this fixed before I take it to Byers to actually have the alignment done. Took it once already and they said it's fixed, a couple drives later, nope, not fixed. Now they're blaming it on the lowered suspension causing the suspension mount to go bad. Aye, sorry, just venting. Suggestions welcomed. [\rant]

im assuming youve dealt with chris? i originally took it to them when i was trying to get the new starter/plugs and the writer told me that he couldnt bring it in unless its been flooded. i asked for the mgr and chris called me back about an hour later. i just reasoned with him that i could very easially flood my car, potentially causing more damage, or that they could just install them as preventitive (i did have a hard start problem.) he was very easy to deal with and has openly talked to me about others 8s that are in and what mods they have. perhaps you slept with his wife?

RA-Eight, are you still wanting to sell that bumper cover? Like to make a deal for a Titanium gray one.

Success 07, sorry never saw your question till now. I had the good folks at the RX-7 store put my RB exhaust on. They have a shop on the west side of town, I have gotten many parts from them and can sometimes get a deal by offering to pay cash and pick it up from them. Jason and Xavier are nice guys who know a lot about cars. They have some RX-7s there that could be right out of a Fast & Furious movie. local phone 771-8966 for them.

I am looking for a used RX8 in hands of enthusiasts who took care of the car. Model year 2004 or 5 with all the services have been performed on schedule with documents to prove. Also, I do not want modded car. Please email me at GTiandrew@gmail.com

Thanks.

Hey soundzero, I just sent you an email. I have mine for sale. Unfortunately I need a bigger vehicle due to a change in jobs. I've been out your way several times this year. Take a look and let me know.

Doug,

I'll still meet up with you when you come into town regardless of what you're driving. Sorry to hear that you have to give up the car. What are you doing with the RB exhaust? What are you going to replace the 8 with?

Anthony,

I decided to make a job change a month ago from the engineering manager to a project manager due to too many long hours and other BS that goes with it. Unfortunately The 8 does not make a good daily driver for muddy construction job site visits. I DO NOT want to swap cars with any of the kids either, for obvious reasons. Also, my Ma who is almost 80 is having her second bout with cancer. I make several trips a week to cut grass , chores, take to the doctor etc. Looks like an extended or crew cab pickup is my next vehicle. I hate parting with the 8 since I have it setup just the way I like it. But hell, who knows there is always another nice car just around the next corner. As far as the exhaust goes, I don't have the original since me the moron bent it up. Do you have an original one? Maybe we can swap it the prospective buyer doesn't care? Have a good one!

Doug,

I'm sorry to hear about your mother. I wish you and your family the best and Godspeed.

On the flip side, congrats on the new job. If your happy going to work that's a good thing. Makes it more tolerable anyway.

I currently have an oem exhaust on the car, so maybe we can work something out. I'll call your cell later.

Ra,

I saw you a month back on Morse Rd. but just now rememberred. The new wheels look really good. Have you got the center caps yet?

Brian,

I know you've been thinking of getting the CZ or at inquiring about it's potential for torque. Unless I can find someone to tune this thing I'm thinking of unloading it. I'm actually running the car now with it turned off. The only thing that I've really noticed with it off is that the heavy black sout (sp?) is back.

Hey Thanks Anthony. I did get the center caps finally. I also got the black lug nuts by Rays. Amazingly lightweight, btw. I need to get some updated pics. Anyone in for photoshoot?

ive been thinking about it for a long time now, and if i find it at the right price (like $200ish) i might jump on it, but to be honest i probably wont get it. id rather redo the suspension and for what im looking the flywheel is probably the right upgrade even if i dont want to put that much work into it.
