Hhmmm, sounds like a busy weekend at the beach. I'd have to; employ the help of each one of you to expedite things, find a place to stay free, require some cold beverages, demand a small break to dip in the Atlantic ... and then the usual fees would apply.

We usually try to have at least one big meet in Richmond each year, maybe two. That would be an easy drive for you. Take a look on our local forum too and you can start to recruit some locals to drive down with you.

This is also for our fellow Mazda Friends from North Carolina. Some of you will have a shorter drive to Richmond than I will coming from Roanoke. So hope to see some out of state plates there as well.

 

I might have another RX buddy come down from Front Royal... not sure which car he'll bring though (has all generations except an FC, lol)

 

There was another gal asking about a Northern Va convoy, I'll have to dig around and see if I can find her name. Maybe we'll have you meet them on 95 like last time.

Well the Front Royal guy isn't going to be able to make it. I am coming down with a miata guy and I've got another rotor head riding shotgun since his FB is down right now...

 

Forgot to mention, in case space is a concern, I will be coming with my wife and my brother who will be bringing his Mazdaspeed Protege

 

Space is not a problem. The weather however .... ?

 

If the convoy thread is any indication the turnout seems to be affected by the weather tomorrow... I may just wait until a later meetup when the weather is better rather than driving the 2 hours out with a sparse turnout.

 

Richmond event has been cancelled due to the likely thunder storms and chance of hail.
