Wow! I didn't realize it had been this long since I made a club.com appearance. Shame on me. The club is rockin along! Take a look at the CVMC site and join us.

Meets are on the third Saturday of EVERY month.

 

I'm a new 8 owner and I was looking for a club. Glad to see there is one slightly closer to me than NOVA. I'm in Harrisonburg. I thought I was the sole 8 in the area, but I've been seeing more here lately.

I'll be glad to join. Really looking forward to track days and drives.

 

I'll be anxious to see your Diamond Gray, clean and in person. Got any pics yet?

That is only a small sampling. I want to take more but I haven't found a good spot. I want to find a nice overlook somewhere instead of my driveway. Hope to do that when it warms up.

Yes, it's the third Saturday of the month, already! We may incorporate a drive into the latter part of the day. But bring your lawn chair if the sun is shinning. We need to talk about the club and where we're going next.

Possible change in venue to the local dealership. I've got a request into them for gathering at their lot.

 

 

Hey, i have had my RX8 for about 2 years now, i saw you guys over at shakers this past saturday but did not have time to stop. Id love to get into some of the club activities im going to look at your website right now.

 

Glad to have you join in ms. We were waving for you to stop, at least we were waving at a Silver RX-8, I'll assume it was you. Be sure to join the CVMC forum as well.

 

Yea we all saw you/silver RX8 and started saying that it needs to stop. Gotta say the car looks good, assuming that was you driving around the mall. Glad to have you as part of the group.

 

Finally got together with the local Mazda dealer for our next meet ... May 16th. 9:00 am. Bring your clean Mazda to the dealership on Forest Rd. We'll have free t-shirts for CVMC members (so join when you get there if you're not already a member). Tech talks with the Mazda Master mechanic. Working on some other items to make for a great meet.

We'll also take a drive after the dealership gathering, approx 1:00 pm.

Next meet is June 20th with lunch @ the Devil's Backbone Brewing Company!

 

Devil's Backbone Brewing Company (Meet #6) was a beaut! Some fantastic driving roads that day.

 

Next ... Meet #7 in Richmond, VA. Elara, you need to make this one. Specifics being determined now, but the date is the 18th (Saturday). Probably starting around 10:00am and lasting most of the day.

This one will include members from Tidewater, Lynchburg/Roanoke area, Charlottesville/NOVA area and many more! Should be big.

Yeah, we'll need to set up a good point to meet. I'm pretty sure I'll be there, too. See if you can talk Janna into it as well. The baby's welcome.

might be less fireballs in my future. i got a ticket for improper exhaust on saturday night. i'm not sure i even have to change my exhaust or if i can just pay the fine.

 

What's "improper"? Is it a missing cat or just "on fire"?

 

its missing a cat, but also very loud, which is what he said he pulled me for. i'm just lucky he didn't write me tickets for the rest of the illegal stuff i have done to my car.

 

Heck, you're lucky. I couldn't even get through state inspection with clear corners and the rear rotary light.

Do you just have a delete pipe for the cat?

Photo-shoot @ what looks like an abandoned Roadway hub, looks unused, no external cameras I could spot, and plenty of tarmac to do shots of one model of car in groups and a group shot... we'll just have to put someone small on the tallest person's shoulders to do a group shot. In satellite view it has trailers parked around it, went by today and it was deserted.
