You guys got any recommendations on shops to take it for for tinting? I had my focus done at horizon auto in canton years ago, they did a mediocre job. Dont know if they are still even around.
Yes. Scroll back a page or two and you'll see Vyn is planning on getting his done. Bullitt is a good choice if you can make it up North a bit and they give a club discount. There's another one that the Canton guys are talking about but I always forget it.
Street: Horizon is still around, but Meg had her car done there and it sucked...
Shinka MJR just had his done today or this past weekend, but I forget exactly where...
Just scroll back a few pages, I had the same question that was answered by a few people.
Doc: Where did you get yours done again? At the Bullitt Place?

Is there another Meg in this thread that I haven't met yet? (in reference to Steve's post about tint)
I keep seeing him mention that but I have yet to see another Meg, Megan, Megz... in here.
Just curious.

price was $189 + tax... something like $201.30 total. Cheaper than the "club discount from Bullitt" as i remember but i can't imagine he wouldn't match prices but don't take my word for it.

Nope... I'm pretty sure I'm talking about the same one that you know. The one that had her window tint screwed up at Horizon...

From: Mere seconds behind the leader...Doh!
I SOOOO sucked.
I got the front and back tire pressures mixed up. Car drove like a ping pong ball. Took me a couple runs to straighten it out. By then I was so upset and discombobulated, all was lost.
Stupid Rookie!!!!
Well, something new on my checklist.
Are we having fun yet............

Whats funny is that I guess one of my snow tires only had like 10 psi and I didn't notice it too much... I would so suck at autocross.... I bet I would try to use my turn signals.
Dude... don't do this to me. . . I am going to get royally screwed up. . . up is white and down is north.....
Sorry if I am getting people confused.
Really?? I need to even upgrade my horn for autoX so the cones can hear it?
John: On my AP install, we didn't run into any of the fitment problems you had. Cleared the dif. better than your install did, and it looks like I won't melt my shrouds, or at least as quickly as yours did... Weird thing is, we didn't do anything different on this install other than I yelled a lot more and probably was not nearly as careful with anything. I managed to get the racingbeat catback off in one piece also... meaning leaving the 2nd midpipe (behind the cat-delete midpipe) attached to the mufflers... I did this by raising the car dangerously high with the jack... at least 2.5 feet.

Well I just got done swapping brake/clutch fluids today.
The fluid in my clutch line was noticeably darker than the brakes.
But I found a couple interesting things while doing this...
The fluid in my clutch line was noticeably darker than the brakes.
But I found a couple interesting things while doing this...
- The bracket for the brake line on the front passenger side that attaches to the upper control arm was missing its bolts! So it was just dangling.
- My front driver's side end link was BUSTED off!
And by the rustic coloring on the broken pieces, its been like that for awhile.
Luckily, Tony is upgrading his possibly this week and will let me have his end links.
I think I just got my stories all crossed. Meg, you told me not to go to park wooster and not to buy a speed3 because they blow up when you don't know how to shift. Seeing as I probably don't know how to shift... i will not buy it. I think that just got filed under the same conversation/time frame as when Jess told me not to go to Horizon because they weren't any good.
I just lumped them all together in my brain, and then drank alot so many of the details were washed away in alcoholic goodness.
My bad.
Get your windows tinted - it looks awful.
Banned - does Graybills have a lifetime warranty?

Yea...but with Pablo's blowing up aren't you glad you dumped yours now?
Steve - So you and Jon are going to come up to look at what is wrong with mine now? Btw...not only did my lower shroud melt from contact...the whole shroud is being melted by heat.
Brian - So I take it playing "Move! Get out the way!" like we did all the way to Indy won't work on cones either?

So anyone know a decent place to get a 1.25 inch hole drilled into an aluminum pipe and then having an aluminum flange welded into said hole? Preferably around the canton/akron area.I need to get my BOV installed.
