Wisconsin Member List
Well, that makes 3.... That is enough for a meet. 2 is just a date.
FYI, I don't consider Madison part of Wisconsin, it is in the Socialist Republic of Madison.
Next Weekend???

I might be interested in meeting for a bit on saturday, what time are ya'll thinking and you're talking about the sonic near the ballpark right? There is one out in waukesha off bluemound just past the barker road/bluemound exit.(I moved up here from a stint in VA and I don't get people up here and their hook on sonic lol, the one in waukesha had a line to park and eat almost all summer and it was just insane to me.)
Oh, I'm in New Berlin, so anywhere we meet would be good for me. I just have to take my winter truck into get an oil change at 9:15ish and then have to be back home about 6ish for prior plans but any time in that middle should work for me.
Sonic Drive
OK, I am declaring a time, date and place... lets see if this works.
Saturday Oct. 24th at 2pm. Hope that will give some time for the people "up Nort" to make it. It is the Sonic on Miller Park way.
I will make contact with Sonic to see if we can get some reserved places, but I am going to need some numbers... right now I am going to say 6 cars, we have 4 already confirmed... kinda of
Post here if you are planning on going

Its pretty easy to find, its behind Miller park. Get off at the Miller Park exit(on 94) and then keep going S. If I'm not mistaken it's infront of a big target. If anyone wants my cell pm me and I can give it to you to help incase you're afraid you'll get lost.

Madison to Milwaukee on the 24th
Anyone else going to the meetup in Milwaukee on the 24th from the Madison area? If so, we should caravan down! Let me know, and we can pick a place. I figure we should leave at 12 to get there by 2pm.
Looking forward to a good burger, good company, and some good roads!

Sorry I didn't get back sooner, but the Evo-Chicago event at the Autobahn Country Club on October 10th was a great event. The new Continental Mazda dealership in Napersville is beautiful and the personnel really seem receptive to Mazda club events. Got to meet a couple of the Evo members and had a great time on the track with them. The event was heavily represented by the Miata club, while the rotaries were modestly present. However, in our group on the track, by the end of the tour, the top four cars were three VR RX-8s and a red RX-7. Again proving the old adage that cream floats to the top! Hopefully we can do more combined events with the Chicago and Wisconsin Rotaries.
Here are a couple pics.

Milwaukee Meekup Wrapup
Last weekend's meet up in Milwaukee was fun, even though it was rather spur of the moment so only 4 cars showed up.
We ate at Sonic, which was outside and cool, though the food was good, the hot chocolate was pathetic, and the service was...confused. Still, it was nice to chat with other owners.
After sitting in the crisp October air for a while, we hopped in our rotor rockets and zipped over to Starbucks to get some real hot chocolate or coffee. The drive over there was slow, going through city construction and the like, but from my vantage point in the back of the line (it took me longer to get going as I had my son with and had to buckle him up), it was really cool to see us all change lanes in unison, and the sounds coming from our cars was great! We even had one 2009! I forget who was driving the white one, but his aftermarket exhaust sounded sweet.
Though it was a brief visit, I look forward to seeing everyone again, and more of you, when the weather warms again!

Sorry I couldn't make it. I've been getting my winter car(DSM) back together. All my free time has been taken up.
Anyway saw a WB slammed with the mazdaspeed bodykit on it- on barker and I-94. Looked sick! Definitely too low for the streets I drive on though.

Just saw a gunmetal gray on I-94W. Sorry i was tailing you so close. Was in a hurry to work, and I didn't want that pesky G8 getting infront of us. Anyway we had a nice little run, I Kept it in 6th though, too much traffic in the morning.

That sonic is really close to my house. I'll likely go if I don't put my car away for winter storage. Otherwise I can bring my 1st gen DSM.
