I have done alot of reading on this site, trying to teach myself about this car and its capabilities. probably for about 2 years reading different posts. but just now decided to become a member. work is slow so i have extra time to post. there are two 8s very near me, one black auto and a red ? see them pretty regular. wondering if there members here?

I'm not taking my car out of storage til april. I know of some nice roads to drive in northern wisconsin. Also the roads in the southwest part of the state by the platteville area are really fun.
If enough people want to gather we can make a day of it, driving and picnic thingie.

The midwest f-body association runs at elkhart lake (road america) in early october. If you are looking for some track time go check it out. I hope to be there. http://roadamerica.fbody.us/index.htm Also for anyone in the southern part of the state, the Autobahn country club in Joliet, IL is hosting a free driving instruction class on Mar 21st. Its hosted by the NSSCC (North suburban sports car club). You will need to got to myautoevent.com to register.

'05 Brilliant Black, 48k checking in.
Just picked it up about 2 weeks ago knowing very little if anything about rotary engines. Taking it to the dealership tomorrow to hopefully get some warranty work done. Unless the guys on HWY 100 suck, but then again it doesn't take much to beat the Hall VW Mazda guys.

Anyone interest in a 2004 Rx8 tiGrey with 29000miles! New Exedy stage 1 clutch and prolite flywheel with act counterweight. Also a New tranny just install by russ darrow mazda. Im selling my car! $15,000 or Best offer!

this car is been baby. Never seen snow. The second gear was grinding and took it to mazda and they replaced with a new one. I dont know what happen.

Second gear grinding? Hmmm, i have an issue where first gear was hard to get into and I thought its normal...anyone else experincing this?

I seen a Grey one tonight on Calumet and parked next to a grey one behind The Bar on College Ave 2 or 3 times, other than that I rarely see any 8's rolling around the area. Come to think of it I have seen a black one parked at Festival Foods on College, I think they may work there.

Also, I think banks are not willing to give out loans above 100% of KBB or even 90% KBB. Probably in the area of 75%. I had this issue when I refinanced to a 3.9% loan last year. I had to put some money down to make up for the difference. This is a common issue as you guys already know with sports cars with high depreciation. Oh well...that's why I gave up on the resale idea.
