Hey ZZ,
Welcome aboard! BTW, next weekend is the "Drive the Milwaukee Mile" event. We hope to have a sizable group of RX's there to run the track together. Hope you can make it!!

If you can, you might want to try to leave earlier. If you noticed in the info, laps start for clubs at 8:00am. Last year we were the first ones out on the track.

Central wisconsin rx8

New Rx8 owner as of nov '07. Brilliant black Grand Touring with Mazdaspeed body kit but instead lower front air dam. I had several FC's before I bought the 8.

Smack dab in the middle of wisconsin, Marshfield.

I'm have been looking at the Road America race track and the only series that I found was the midwest fbody club that ran in april. Any other events that we can bring the 8's to?

www.nasamidwest.com

They have a lot of events at different tracks, including Road America. Another good club that runs there later this summer is the Northwood Shelby Club.

about 4k I had too. To answer your question I think it's mainly the interior trim, wheels, suspension (bilstein I believe) and foam filled something. Check out the Mazda site.

Meeting of the WI Rx8's

If anyone is interested. I have found one of the most fun strips of road I have ever driven on. Its about 10 miles of county hwy up between villas and lincoln county.

Its Cty Y from HWY 51 just south of Hazelhurst to HWY 8. I found it when I took a detour around some construction. I am in the process of trying to plot the path on google maps, but not working so well.

Will update with pics/maps.

mrslysly, welcome!

Let me know if you map out that route! sound like a lot of fun!

Hey guys, anyone have corksport kit in their car with a pioneer stereo in it?
I would love to have a look because I am a little concerned about how it will make the dash look after intalling it, I like the current design on the car, so I would like to make sure I like the new look before investing in it.

Thanks in advance, hope everyone is having a good summer!

Another fun road, even at slow speeds, in that area. But watch out for deer and animals.

zoom zoom. I just went to the 2-day driving school by Skip Barbar at Road America and it was so much fun! We did emergency braking and turning, smooth handling, skiding and recovering, autoXing, and who knew, drifting. It was awsomely cool. They had the 3s on dry pavement, mx 5s on autoX track, and the rx8 on the skid pad. It was totally worth it. I must say I feel more confident going down the road besides all the fun. They also had a private racing event going on on the track so the instructors took us for a ride flying down the 4-mile - at the same time trying to pass each other.
