Awesome! I got mine last week! I havn't done any of the data logging yet because I need to get my car working properly first. I can't get the car past 6k... it's very frustrating!

One complaint about the AP is that the Dongle gets in the way. I think I'll try to move it or re-wire it.

Hey guys, I just bought my RX8 about 3 weeks ago. Great car! It's nice to know there are more of us in Minnesota, I live in Elk River and have yet to see another 8!
I read on the first few pages about Walser being a good place to take our cars, that's where I bought mine from, but I haven't been into the service section yet. I'm planning on taking my car in there later today to have the tests run on my engine to check for any issues.
O well, just wanted to say hi!

Anyone go to the auto show? There was a orange elise in the parking lot on Saturday.
I sat in an 09 RX8, that was cool. A bunch of wannabe's were crowded around it pretending to know about rotary engines so I stepped in and corrected them and they all walked off.

I saw three 8's yesterday afternoon! Gray going southbound on hwy 100. Yellow with decal going northbound on Normadale Blvd. and Blue with black rims going east on Old Shakopee Road...
All nice looking glad to see them out there!

Yellow was most likely me. I don't take it out often, other than for autox, but was a nice day... just had to. Too bad I missed you, I'm usually on the lookout for other 8's.

hey all,
just saying hello. i live in St. Paul and picked up a black 06 shinka from a guy in Minneapolis on April 1 - hopefully i'm not the fool. fun, impressive car (even stock) and i like knowing i will not see another 30 of them on the road every time i take it out.
used morrie's last week to take care of a couple outstanding recalls / TSBs and was satisfied; as long as i'm lacking the space to do it myself will probably go back for the 15k service whenever i get there and to check on the rear end "growl" during low speed turns after long highway driving.
this forum has been an awesome source of info so far as i'm learning the car. enjoy the driving weather!
