Another owner found
I'm an owner of one of those Titanium RX-8's. Mine is a 2004, bought it at Polar in White Bear and it's garaged November 1 till May 1 in a friends barn so I'm not tempted to have fun in the snow. Was wondering if anyone has changed their tires yet and if so did you stick with the Bridgestones or change brands.
Keep rocketing around and flash your lights if you see another on the road.

i went with some blizzaks it was 185 a tire..but honestly it's well over worth it..because last night we had over a good inch of snow on the ground and ice underneath and i was purposely trying to lose control and i couldn't do it...so it swerved a lil bit but it caught so thats what i'm happy with.
which blizzaks did you get?? I'm looking to invest in some when next winter comes along. 185 seems pretty decent from the numbers i was pullin up online

On a side note I am currently running on a set of Pirelli Winter 210 Sottozero and I absolutely love them. These are the only winter tires I have experience with but I would definitely buy them again. The are exceptional when it comes to breaking and also provide great traction in the corners. I can't speak to their longevity yet as I have only driven on them since November. I will post up some pictures of the winter setup sometime over the next couple of days.

Is Nifty
I'm not sure about what a permanent fix would be for this problem but It's really easy to get that water out. I followed a DIY from the DIY section and it worked great.

I still have my OEM rims boxed in the garage if anyone is interested.
Seti001 I'll be down for a meet this weekend but i'm not sure if anyone is going to show up. It's going to be a cold one.

I also got the parking light conversion and license plate light.
See the scuff? I hit the side of my garage one morning. I was half asleep because my roommate needed my to move my car
The pic doesn't show it but the parking lights are now have a little more blue tint to them. So I probably going to pick up a 6000k kit, possible 8000k but I don't want to lose lighting.
LED is so bright it shines on the floor!
