Random question for you turbo guys...

How big of a mpg difference do you have? I know we run rich at the top end already (not enough for a turbo I do not think). Just curious as to what the mpg vs. extra hp difference is?

Makes it all the more impressive...

That is kind of what I figured...makes it all the more impressive--a) the hp gain for the cost and b) the lack of real increase in everyday fuel consumption.
I am glad to see the thread on the turbo kit expanding all the time, and the great positive feedback of those who have bought it. Good work!!

MNSC Autoshow Meet on March 8th. As usual, we will meet up at Perkins on 394/Louisiana in Golden Valley and caravan downtown to the Minneapolis convention center. Afterwards we will be grabbing a late lunch/early dinner at TGI Friday's off of 394. Check the events forum for more details.

hey guys i have a question for ya. i'm 18, senior in highschool and i live in small town of clara city MN. Couple hours west of the Cities and i'm havin trouble finding a nice car for prom. see around here our prom is more based on what car you come rolling up in. now last year i searched for an rx8 but like what i'm finding in this forum there isn't many around. i currently own an 03 mzdspeed protege which i baby. it's a nice car but nothing compared to an rx-8 plus everyone has seen it so it's nothing new.

if any of you would be willing to "rent" your 8 for a day or 2 to make my prom one to remember it would be greatly appriciated! i AM WILLING TO PAY! for the innconvience! you will also get a free hand wash, wax and polish! and i will pay for gas!
thank you, Chris Zimmer

There is a big risk in lending someone your car.

The insurance.

The wear and tear.

This is probably a tough stretch but you can buy a used RX-8 for less than $20,000

now. Have your dad buy it for you.

i bought my own car. pay for insurance and pay for gas. i know how to respect a car for i do all the work on it myself. it's already sittin on 18in motegi's, dropped to the ground with a buddyclub kit.

i figured there would be someone out there that would be cool enough to lend over a car for a day and get it detailed and a free tank of gas.
