Yea anythings allowed as long as its not to loud. Its an SCCA event so there are alot of different classes. You should come out test and tune is the 19th and the actual event is the 20th. I was one of two 8's last time.

Boo. It has been snowing and the 8s parked in the garage. How many people here are driving with winter tires?

 

4 years is. I have winter tires but have been too lazy to install them They go on today I swear .

Car rides amazing in winters...better then a lightweight front wheel drive with all seasons.

 

Drives awesome.

But my brother's car have snow tires on them.. He drives it everyday with zero problem except one day because the road near my house was icy and was going up a hill. We all know ST. Paul hates plowing the side streets

 

Oh well. Atleast I can still shop for my 8. Please gold me rotary rabbit.

P.S. When is the next rx8 winter support group meeting. Crazy Driver mentioned snow tubing!!

 

So often do you guys meet up?
It's hard to find RX8 owners on the road...I bump in to one like once every week or 2. Bumped into a fellow Copper Red Shinka w/o wing RX8 on 494 today.

 

It's been really cold. We don't officially meet. But Jason,Chris,Ted and myself sometime do lunch or dinner around this time of the year.

Most 8 here garage their car during the winter. Despite that I still spot a few here and there in St. Paul

When it warms up we meet more often.

 

Mine is garaged up right now too. It's hard to watch it sit there....I take it out whenever the snow melts however.
