Red Robin? Kinda loud there though. We have Wendy's and Burger King too. The Chipotle up in Blaine is nice.

 

Chipotle would be cool it is almost across the street from me and there are plenty of other restaurants around there if someone doesn't like it.

I just bought an RX-8 from Luther Mazda last Tuesday (2006 SS GT). Absolutely love the car, and the dealership was very nice.

I live in Edina.... I unfortunately don't think I can make the 17th, but I'll register on the MN site so that I can stay in the loop.

Question - where in town do you guys get your car washed? I took mine to a local self-serve car wash near Highway 7 and 169... I didn't want to use one of those "touch" car washes and I didn't want to use one that would pull you along because of the lower ground clearance. (Some require 5" of ground clearance... RX-8s only have 4.7").

I have a new Holiday gas station real close to me that has nothing on the floor to catch on and it does a fairly decent job. Most of the time I take it to the DIY car wash though.

 

well, similar to filterban, i probably wont make it Thursday...but I would love to meet some other 8 owners soon...maybe once I upgrade something to my GT so it wont be completely stock.

 

Nice thing is if you come out you can see what others have done.

Helps get ideas for things that cost practically nothing but a little time.

Just got sunlight silver 04 gt rx8 six days ago. I'm in maplewood, mn. Work in st.paul, you'll see me around the metro. waiting on plates. oh yea, you don't see a lot of 8's around.

 

Talk about cars, eat, take scenic drives, do installs or maintenance work on the cars.

We will be doing a class on lubrication (oil and gear lube).

Another thing I think would be cool is to get together and watch the DIY Rotary Rebuild series.

Some of us are looking at taking an auto-X class in St. Paul (two day, first day is class, second is hands on).

We are open to suggestions as well.

The Sunlight Silvers are multiplying. For a while I was under the impression that it was just Truemagellen and me that had Sunlight Silvers here in Minnesota.
