Dang it!!! found a please that sell the pipe I wanted. Only 5 mins from my house. But they close at 4:30 argggggggggg.

Anyways, after looking at the space I have after pulling the bumper and lowering the intercooler. there are space for Ram air. heheheheh !!!!!!!!!! I"ll probably do a short ram.
Might even be able to use the Airnex for awhile. I"ll take some pic of the space
and possible intake setup.

Here is a question for you all:

Do I move the filter out or do I leave it in and box it and run cold air to it.

If I move it then I"ll have to pull the bumper just to clean it and it'll probably get dirty really fast. On the Plust side its cooler then in the box

no no hehehe Filter yes. Just moving it out like SSR did. Or do I keep it where it is now and box it in. Then ram some air in the box.

I'd keep the filter in the airbox... if you can figure out how to cover/seal the box.. otherwise you may have to figure out another approach. (definatly being able to check/replace the filter sounds like a "good thing" to me.) :D

Joey: here something for you to try.

Drop your intercooler as far as it can go.
remove the threaded pipe.
remove the plastic under the threaded pipe:
works wonders for me heehehe

Went for a joy ride with Truemagelen and his Hymee scan(Took a long lunch hahaha **slackers***. :D Air temp was in the 90s on the highway .Pick up is faster to... :P

Just wanted to say Hi. Bought a used RX-8 from Morries, live out in Coon Rapids. Silver sport. So far I'm loving it. Should be down at MRR in a few weeks. See you there.
