With the clear corners, i figure it is a sure bet that he is on here, and figured with the Michigan tags I am most likely to catch him here. Though could be military and stationed near NY/CT.

He turned off for the NYC 'beltway', which, if he was driving back to MI, it would be the way to go. Not conclusive, but points in the right direction.

Hey guys there is a cruise in Hell, Michigan. I went with kors-jan and preakout last year and had a blast.

How is everyone doing?

Seems pretty quiet here in Michigan for rx8 owners.

place to wash on the east side

Anyone know of a car wash that their car will go through without the shock mounts hitting?? I would love to drive the RX8 here and there through out the winter on nice days( if we have any) Besides finding a car wash, is anybody going to drive theirs through the winter?

none of us? when did you get elected as official mouthpiece of all michigan rx-8 owners?

you cannot take your car to a quarter car wash in the middle of winter when the temps are well below freezing. the water and soap will both freeze on your car, which looks stupid to say the least (i've had it happen).

if there are forester brothers car washes on the east side, i would go there. they seem to be the safest auto washes around that i have found.

winter driving

I'm storing my car on the bad days, but I'll drive it when the weather is OK and there's no salt on the roads. So what's that... maybe 5 days the whole winter? The guy I got this car from this summer never even drove the car in the rain since new!

Hey everyone. Not new here, but my permanent residence is in Pinckney, MI. I am currently serving in the Army and am at Ft. Lewis , WA. I leave for Iraq next summer, and when I get back, I will return to MI. How much snow is on the ground right now?

I've parked the 350Z roadster for the winter. Now I drive the RX8 LMAO! Pirelli snow tires kick ****! This is the one of the reasons I can't lower the RX. I need it in winter ... and the fact that my wife will not go out of the way to avoid speed bumps at the local shopping center.

I've already replaced a stamped crossmember that was mangled by the speed bumps at Detroit Metro's parking garage. (Thanks to my wife.)

Anyway, the 8 really does well if you know how to drive it.

The Plymouth Auto Plaza Ann Arbor Rd. works, or the Failane cart wash in Dearborn on Michigan and Oakman Blvd

My Pick I finally got time!

It snowing like hell so I am not going to drive my car like a plow down the road to trash it, so I called in today. Finally have time to post my pictures with my summer wheels. It's a little late but better than nothing, what else do we have to look forward to with this ecomomy and this weather?

Bout to pull the trigger on my rx-8 purchase real soon. I only have 2 months left on my jeep lease. I had planned on leasing a 09 but the promotions isnt that appealing. I dont want to put down $3400 for a sport. I may just buy a 06 or 07. The problem is that I cant find any local online. I stay in the south east part of the state. Anybody know of any lots that might have some for sale?

Rx8 for sale

I may consider selling my 2005 RX8 SHINKA(Special Edition) if the price is right. 20,000 miles, 6 speed, very nice car. This winter has got me thinking I need a Jeep Commander. I really hate to sell it but it's just not all that practical for me. It has been stored in the winters and never even driven in the rain until this past summer.

WOW...we're the complete oppsite. Im giving up my 2007 commander to get a rx-8 and you're giving up your 2005 rx-8 for a commander.

The commander is cool but out of 365 days in the year I only really need it maybe 5 days, if that. I was glad I had it last week but the other 360 days i wish i had a sports car. The family is hardly ever in the truck with me. For the most part its just me all this extra weight to drive. I was hoping to get a beater for the winter if I get the mazda.
