welcome to the addiction charz. window tinting in michigan can be limo for rear doors and rear window. 35% on side windows with only the first 8" being tintable. but do what I did. goto doctor complaining of bright lights and such bothering you causing migraines. request a note for tinted windows and throw a copy in your glovebox. I have done so and only once was it challenged by the cops when pulled over for tint. I fought it and the judge sided with me and the doctor's note being sufficient for the tint.

Or you could just stay legal, but that's wicked light... I think legal is like 30-35% or something like that. I personally have 5% all around with about a 10" banner in front... I haven't gotten hassled yet, but I do have outta state plates and such. Don't quote me, but you'd probably be safe with 20% all around.

i personally have 50% on the front windows, and have yet to get pulled over for it.

just wanted to inform that i installed my carbon fiber hood yesterday and i must say the black carbon fiber with my velocity red looks siiiiiiick!!!! oh and correction on the year of my car it's an 05

I FINALLY TALKED AND SAW SOMEONE WITH A WHITEWATER PEARL RX8... WOO GO ME, haha.
Saw the lady was showing off her 8 to some of her friends when I pulled up. I talked to her and found out she bought her car in Maryland (where I bought mine)... strange I say. Oh well, it made my night that I actually saw someone with a whitewater pearl rx8... first one I've seen since I bought it 3.5 months ago, haha.

Well I just got done
a. cleaning my wheels
b. tire shining my tires
c. waxing the entire car
geeez now it's time for a nap. Uh and I totally need to wax more often... it's sooo soo pearl like that I couldn't stop staring at it for a good 30 minutes while I ate my bowl of rice...
Casey, I'll probably be out there tonight... not sure how long I'll stay as I think I have plans later... plus I don't really have the money for gas to cruise tonight... but maybe... DOH guess we'll see.

I got to see Kors-Jan (Chuck) yesterday. I'm standing in my driveway when he pulls into my new neighbor's drive. (What a coincidence!) Small world, eh?
I didn't represent the RX's well. The 350Z roadster was in the driveway and the RX was parked on the street. LOL. (I was loading crap into the Jeep. Otherwise the RX is never on the street. LOL)

After redlining 5th and passing a friend in his speed6 i took my foot off the gas and flames shot out (normal). But then he said both my exhaust pipes looked like they had huge sparklers in em and sparks were shooting out all over for like 20 seconds and chunks of something (carbon?) was hitting his car. Is this something I should be worried about?

What other mods do you have? I know I shoot flames out but sparkles doesn't sound good. It might chunks of metal coming out. Could it be your seals? I guess the right person to ask would be CRH.

BTW did anyone go to the Woodward cruise? If so, there is a 28th street metro cruise here in Grand Rapids on Saturday 8-24-2008. I know of many West Michigan rotary owners are going to being meeting up prior to the cruise.

Had the pleasure of coasting down I-95 through CT with my baby's twin on Friday the 29th. First whitewater pearl GT 8 I have seen. Michigan tags, gunmetal gray rims, clear corners.

More than likely we'll run into each other... I drive a 05 WWP GT with a few mods done. My buddy lives about 5 minutes away from M59 and Van Dyke. I'm in downtown Mt Clemens though. Oh and welcome!

Hum... I have yet to see another modded WWP... I've seen one WWP, but a lady had just bought it so that doesn't count, haha. I was going to say it was Kor-jan, but then realized you spotted the 8 in CT and I doubt he was there, but I could be wrong, haha.
