Ok, so I have about half a dozen people interested in coming to the meet I believe. I think I'm going to send out another PM to just tell people to meet at 8 mile and haggerty. Then the 8's can go from there.


Jungleagent- Do you know how many 8's are coming from the west side?

 

Im not sure how many are going. Most of the people that I thought was going for sure made other plans. Some went to Idiana for the winged warrior show and some went to PA to another show. As for myself, I will be at the DNA Event in GR with the Hummer Club. The good news it ends at 4pm so if I have the energy I might go out there.

 

BTW anyone know the answer to the HID ligth bulbs question I asked a couple of posts above me?

Seriously, the guys at A2SC are pretty cool and they are going. It seems that many various car clubs are converging on this BBQ so it's not all Xceed.

Xceed is full of a annoying personalities but that is just the folks who post. I say what do you have to lose? It will be a very nice day. You can have some food and check out some sweet rides ... then leave.

I am told by some cool folks that this is well worth it. So please try not to post up messages to kill an event without talking to someone who has been there.

The other (more significant) reason for not going is a decent dent in my front fender due to a stupid lady and a huge *** suburban door.. I'm embarrassed to show the car until it's fixed.. which will be Monday..

 

Hey do any of you guys know a good Mazda dealership to go to for the recall? I don't want to go to a place where they don't know what they're doing... I'd probably travel at least half way across the state to do it just so I don't get screwed over..

 

I have been taking my 8 to SESI in Ypsilanti; they know what they are doing, have had no problem keeping me posted on updates and recalls and have always treated me like a king even though I did not buy the 8 from them in the first place. Now that I have moved back to Canada I still plan on getting my work done there........convenient because I still work in the area at least once a month.

 

yeah i was going to go to the meet but once again my stupid girlfriend decides to start a fight at 7:30 in the f*cking morning. After that i was not in the mood to do shibby.

 

I saw a black RX8 getting loaded onto a flatbed on M14 on Saturday.
