Hey BigRed, since I'm probably the resident engineering geek, I gotta comment on what you said about UM and Kettering. I wouldn't necessary make any preconceived judgements on the quality of the two engineering schools you mentioned.

I've met and worked with many grads from both schools and they all ranged both ends of the intellectual spectrum. I guess that doesn't necessarily speak to the quality of the institution, but the quality of the student. However, you could argue it is somewhat related.

And I suppose I can't speak for how good those schools might be today, only those who graduated pre-2000.

But I'd be up for a get-together when I get my summer's back on. If the wife lets me go..... haha. In other words, that means I gotta keep it 100% legal... is that going to be possible with you guys?!

 

MI_FamilyMan, don't sweet it man. When we all meet up just come and talk cars whateve, if you don't want to tool around town seeing whether or not you can attract enough attention to get a ticket... that's not a big deal.

No one can arrest you for parking next to another rx8 and talking to it's driver.

we didnt get a hold of one yet, Murrys said that I had to order it and it would take a day. Were gonna go to my uncles shop later and maybe try some autozones and other spots
i drove it around today and the brakes arnt as bad as they were when i called you, but they were a bit soft still.
hopefully i can have it runnin by tomarrow

 

yeh, turns out it wasnt the master cylinder
there wasnt ne leaks or anything, we tried to bleed it but that didnt happen.
the brake pad is still soft, theres no compression. When I pump it, it gains a little bit more pressure but then fades out again.

where should i go to get this fixed?
i wanted to have it done by the afternoon so i could cruise around this saterday

well, i've been a member of xceeds forums for years, but i only hang out with a few of those guys. the club i'm referring to is motown muscle. username is either mxracer or mxracercam.
