Have you spoken to MM about $$? Maybe someone can offer him a room at their place. Will be cheaper then a hotel and probably better for him.

JK, good luck man. Take my advise on one thing. You can either take advantage of the military or you can let them take advantage of you. What I mean is try to get as much out of them as possible in terms of schooling. It's going to be fun times, I miss those days

I got a response back from one of the shops I contacted. I replied asking if they were available June7 and if we could bring a tuner. I will wait and see what their responses are. Here are the prices

Our dyno day rates go as follows –
1-9 cars = $70.00 each
10-20 cars = $50.00 each
21-30 cars = $40.00 each
Air/fuel = $10.00 additional
Boost = $10.00 additional
I have contacted Charles R. Hill and he already has June 7th reserved on his calendar for this. I am waiting on a return call from MM but I'm sure we will get everything worked out soon.

I'm sorry if the date doesn't work for everyone. There is a lot going on and its really hard to schedule an open day for everyone. As long as the date works for the shop, MM, Charles R. Hill, and the majority of the people then June 7th is when it will be. If we get done early we can hit up the Chicago Lakeshore Meet.

Nothing is final so if someone finds a better deal, date, or anything please post up and let us discuss it as a group.

Thanks!
Tommy

You still miss the point. I got over a 19hp gain, but that was over the current map I was running, not over what I was getting before the AP was installed.

OH, I see so you never did a base line stock run. Sounds promising then, Thanks

But then at the same time, if you were not on the correct MM map on the first run, it could have had performance down from the stock map. Which would mean a less then 19HP gain. Its hard to tell what the real results where without a base run off of the stock computer.

I hope I'm over 200 just with my mods not including the AP, if not oh well at least it was fun installing all that stuff. With the AP I'm hoping to be over 215 This is all to get me ready for next Feb. when I go FI

I want to do what I can to get my car Dyno ready so I can get some reliable #'s, what do you think I should do? Check coils/plugs, How? Currently I have 33K on original coils.

I know what you mean about gettin a car dyno ready. I have been scrambeling trying ot get my ignition solution put on and now i am waiting for my midpipe to get here in time. I just wnat to have to do the dyno and tune thing once.

i would suggest new plugs and maybe even wires. As far as coils go i do not know how you can check them. Maybe take them off and check out the back of them. See if you can see any white spots where they could be failing and or grounding out. if you have not gotten a cel from a misfire you are most likely ok though

I put down 185 when I had the MazdaSpeed CAI, RX8Store Highflow Cat, and a TurboXS Catback. That was last fall on a Dynojet before the turbo build. I am looking for over 300whp with all the new stuff.
