Just for grins and giggles check out these pics of a couple cars he did. Both body kits are reps and not drilled, and get shitty reviews on the web. AIT(Scion), and RAZZI(Cobalt). This is the kind of thing I looked for, someone who can take a less than perfect part and make it fit.

I like the exhaust woofers on the Scion. I bet they add 10 BHP.

I love the way my suspension is set up right now, I can only imagine what some beefier sways would do to the car at this point and a little more power.

On another note if its nice enough I may bring over some seafoam and try it out on my car as well.
Dan, in place of more HP, just let the rust continue and you'll lighten up the GVW a few hundred lbs.

A couple places I found that are vacant and for lease near the airport. Maybe a good spot for photos.

How about any of those?... I don't know how accessible Crosley building is... but it looks pretty perfect if we're going for urban decay. Or the Huddy brewery building.

There's a couple of alley's downtown that i want to try out this spring if a couple of you are interested.

The trouble with alley's is that you don't have much time sometimes and only 1 or 2 cars fit at a time.

I actually like the idea of a decrepit building better, but it seems a lot of them are hard to gain access or spots to take photos are limited. I do like the Crosely Building because it's light in color.

As far a my warehouse idea, I guess it only looks good with one car, and I need to get the right angle and time of day which I know nothing about. Maybe Mazdax3 can chime in on his thoughts on that. I may just do some solo shots of my car there to see how it goes with my point and shoot.

If someone wants to organize a shoot, i'm up for it assuming I can make it. Looks like it's going to be a busy spring/summer for me.

Not to turn anyone down, but if i do an alley shoot, i'll probably do it solo or with one other car to keep it clean and easy. I was mostly spouting out the idea because of what atredeus said in another thread about needing pictures of his car.

Well perhaps we could coordinate with the local fuzz, since I'm pretty sure most of those buildings are owned by the city, or at least not privately held anymore.

Definitely down to do that. And I meant it when I said I only had camera phone pictures of my car so far.

Sure, I'm down. I just won't park next to him :P

Alleys are nice, but probably have to do them on a Sunday AM while all the crackheads are sleeping off a binge. Just wear thick soled shoes to avoid the needles.

I may be cruising downtown tomorrow afternoon so maybe I'll check out Camp Washington. My dad grew up there as did my cousins, but that was from a better time. Problem is getting access sometimes can be tricky. Camp Washington Chili is a good spot to go after a shoot though. Always open except Christmas Day. But the new place isn't as good as the old joint that closed in 2000. My Dad used to walk us down there as kids when we visited my grandmother.

The problem with modern buildings is the parking spaces in front normally have a lot of handicap signs sprouting up. I'm not big on cloning them out in PS, so wherever we find, make sure there's not a lot of clutter in the near background.

Cement and gravel pits make nice places too. Just getting access can be a chore after hours. Spring Grove Cemetery is another spot, but normally a cloudy or foggy day is better. B&W works better there.

Maybe after BB gets the new front end on, we can do some night shoots and he can light the way with the big honking' fogs. I'm going to get the wheels painted and get the springs installed before the shoot though. Need some new ones for the portfolio.

Mazdax3, what do you think of the Glencoe-Auburn Row Houses? Any value? I have never been there but not sure if there is street that doesn't have a huge incline. Definately a cool backdrop though.

Might work. Who can come strapped in case the bad people like our cars?

I do like a little separation between the car and the buildings. If you're right up against, you'll take away from the car some. Most pros will make a little buffer between the car and the building. Some side shots may work here. 3/4 shots might be out since the streets are fairly narrow.

How's access into the place? Any No Trespassing signs posted? If so, not a good place to be.

There have been many professional type pictures taken inside the buildings themselves in the searches I saw, so I don't think access is a problem. I am not sure about street traffic in the area. I have read that this area is high crime, so you better be able to fight your way out of a phone booth if the need arises LOL.

Curious if anyone has been or gone around this area before.

Right behind Christ Hospital.

http://maps.google.com/maps?safe=vss...ed=0CCEQ8gEwAA

I think you get off at Reading and follow the directions here. Stay strapped my friend and let me know how it goes.

I know a guy at work who used to work at Christ so I will ask him about it as well.

I'm getting the 8 back today
She won't look too pretty but she'll be running!
I have a passenger side fender and front bumper I'm prepping for paint so it won't be too long till she'll look better, minus the rocker panel.
