Right now Tuesday works for me. Only thing that might be an issue is I might have a job interview up in Columbus and not sure what time that may be. I'll know more tomorrow.

What bumper are you having spade work on?

 

Most people either love it or hate it.

 

I'm not a huge fan of the fogs, but they certainly don't kill it by any means. I think it's gonna look pretty badass in BB.

When are you taking it to them?

I need to get started on that bumper i have. I need to get all my **** ordered so i can get my car back together first though. Kinda need to get it done in the next couple weeks, or it won't get touched until the end of march Wife's sister and fam are most likely going to to be here the first week of march, then there's St. Patty's day weekend, then my bro's birthday weekend after that. I'm hoping to get it back on the streets to do the Leprechaun Run on the 25th if i survive Beer World in C-Bus for my bro's birthday the night before.

 

I need to call him a couple weeks before I am ready to install which will be in April after I return from vacation. I need to stop by and check out the new place soon. Let me know when you get a weekend, I'll stop by and help you work on your car. I am going to be moving in June also, so a lot of "other" things getting in the way. I like the way the bumper looks at night with the fogs on. Should look better on black as well.

Yeah, you and the wifey will have to come over and hang out. If all goes well, i'll probably be wrenching on it the 25/26th. I have the money to order everything, but i'm really just waiting on my new CC to come so i can wrack up some airline miles. With talk of a big family vacation in Hawaii or Socal (her family) in the next year or so, and possibly another trip to ARG in the next two, i figured i should get something to earn airline miles. What better way to rack them up than on car parts and track days.

My goal is to get it out for a drive on the 26th though. As of now, the weather looks good for that weekend too. I'll keep you in the loop and if that weekend works, you guys are more than welcome to head over. It's been a while since the women got to hang out anyway.

Yep feb. So in two weekends. All i'd be doing saturday is taking apart my brakes and painting them, stripping the chewed up engine bay insulation, and possibly putting the engine bay back together, replacing the mani to cat gasket and putting on the air pump block off plate. That stuff might wait until Sunday when i put everything back together.

Saturday or Sunday work really. I'll talk to the wife and see which she prefers. We'll have the new couch too, so she'll be happy to have guests to see it.

 

I may be home that weekend. If I am I'd be willing to head over and help, I figure I owe you since you've put in plenty of wrench time in my car.

I love the way my suspension is set up right now, I can only imagine what some beefier sways would do to the car at this point and a little more power.

On another note if its nice enough I may bring over some seafoam and try it out on my car as well.

 

Very curious to see the finished product of that Re-Amemiya kit. Is it authentic?
And as Fuz pointed out, I'm not a huge fan of the fog's either, but still an aggressive bumper nonetheless.

 

The bumper is a rep, the sides are MS rep, and the rear is authentic. The RE sides are hideous to me. It's hard to find pics of the kit with concave wheels on it. Most pics are old, and were taken before the style came out. This type of kit looks better with my rims I think. I am probably going to kick out my rears a little more for effect, depending on clearance with the narrower tires.

I am very curious to see the finished product of Rick Spade, he claims he can properly fit it, we'll see. Fuz has seen my bumper, he thought it looked pretty good for a rep.

 

I know what you paid. So what you paid - labor to install @ $50/hr plus storage at my house overnight and a rental car, I think you'd owe me money if i took them.

 

Been thinking the past few days about good places for photos. I used to work at Fedex by the airport in Hebron. There is a lot of vacant warehouses off of exit 4. Most of these buildings are light in color and have vast parking lots with bay doors, which I think looks good on black. I saw someone post pics with a background like this and it looked pretty good. I will wait for a sunny (warmer) day and go scope it out.
