Ahh...the little joys of life.

 

Well, we got 5 inches of heavy, wet snow. The sand and salt trucks are running so my 8 is officially in the garage for winter.

 

Weather is crazy out there right now. Anyone out in there rx8 in the bad weather?

 

10" last night, and another 4" this morning. My 8 is garaged for winter, officially. The road salt and sand will not touch my car, ever.

It's the Explorer for the next 13 weeks or so!

Not nearly the fun that the 8 is, but then I'm not sweating bullets driving it in snow, wondering which of those fools is going to lose control and plow into me!

 

Come on, JT, Man up! I've driven my '04 every winter in the frozen tundra and she still shines...

Took mine up to Powder Mountain in a storm last week
It's not bad if you keep your momentum up and try not to let your tires spin.

I bought an '80 RX-7 BN in late '79. Driving it through one winter here started a terminal rust process and just pitted the nose something fierce.

I won't do that again. I can drive the Explorer for 12 or 13 weeks a year and not get my shorts twisted one bit.

Hey me too. I haven't driven mine for 2 months and I'm missin it.

 

yeah mine is kinda dirty from driving up to PC 4 times a week :-(

 

Only 4 more weeks in the "official" hibernation season! Woot!

 

I can't wait to start driving my 8 again. Too bad this week is going to be FREEZING out.

Im kinda scared to take my car up to powder haha for some reason. I guess its when you have to drive up hill and you get tight squeezes when another car comes at you :/

 

Nope, not me. Mine hasn't moved for about 2 months now. Just waitin for better weather.

 

You're brave. Isn't the road to Powder Mountain one of the steepest/longest inclines in the state?
