I'm actually still not sure about the time-off. It's the one aspect I have zero control over, other than quitting my job if I can't get those days, which of course isn't going to happen.

Announcement of the third annual Las Vegas "What Happens In Las Vegas" Meet. This event is open to all rotary vehicles

Date of the meet: June 18th and 19th, 2010

Friday evening gathering: In & Out Burgers on West Sahara

Friday evening party: When we leave the In & Out burger, we will caravan to "Las Vegas Mini Gran Prix (outdoor track) where we can ride the carts by the hour ($18.00 per hour) and a no host bar at Chili's restaurant bar.

Saturday drive meet point: In & Out Burgers on West Sahara 10am

To those of you that have not attended a Las Vegas meet, The over view will be:

Friday June 18th, 6pm - 8pm a general meet at the In & Out burger parking lot on West Sahara for introductions, freebies and offerings.If freebies are available, they will only be available as one to each car registered on this forum posting.

Saturday June 19th at 10am we will meet at the In & Out Burger parking lot on West Sahara for a drive in the Las Vegas area. The drive is about two and one half hours in length, will cover 125 miles and will end at a local Hotel for lunch. There will be a several hour break for rest, recreation and sight seeing. The party group (all that wish to attend) will meet at the Hoffbrahause for beer, food and friendship from 7pm until ?

This years drive will be close in to Las Vegas and will be on all paved roads (unless the state or county do their thing again this year), some narrow roads and some twisty roads and some freeway. There will be vehicles within the group to offer assistance if you are in need.

The weather will again this year be very warm but not blazing hot (yet). Be sure you carry drinking water, a hat, vehicle water and oil. All places that we get together will be at places that have food so those that are still under drinking age will be welcome.

We are now up to the 60s in attendees and would like to figure the actual count of vehicles and peeps. If for any reason you do not sure of having a passenger, that's OK just let me know that it's a MAYBE.

A prominate forum vendor is going to kick in some freebies to all that attend. I am not yet sure what they will be but any freebie gift is going to be kind of them.

To insure proper sizing available for each of you, a note stating your T shirts size would be nice. Right now there will be a limited amount of 3X, several 2X, several XL, few of the Large and a limited amount of medium for the ladies.

In addition some specialty vendors have donated some items for a raffle NGK donated some spark plugs for the 7s and 8s, Maguires is donating some car care products to be bundled for a raffle try, Black Halo Racing has donated a $250.00 gift certificate, there will be a limited few of the art work posters in the raffle, Pettit Racing has donated several items for both the 7s and the 8s. We are still in negotiations with several other specialty vendors for some additional raffle items.

I did a rough water rafting trip down the Colorado in Moab today Utah is great! best off-roading and scenery ever! I would love to trailer my 8 out here so I could run these roads!

 

Nice! Rafting that river is a **** ton of fun. If your ever up in SLC we have a ton of goods road up here too!

The cost is $19.95 and includes two slices of pizza a pitcher of soda for every 4 people and 90 minutes yup 1 and 1/2 hours of track time!! Also, there will be a no host bar (across the street from the kart track) at Boomerangs restaurant bar.

Saturday drive meet point: In & Out Burgers on West Sahara 10:00am We will meet at the In & Out Burger parking lot on West Sahara for a drive in the Las Vegas area. The drive is about two and one half hours in length, will cover 125 miles and will end at the Fiesta Hotel & Casino on Rancho Road for lunch. The top floor of the parking garage will be set aside for our parking use and is supposed to be roped off and have a guard. After lunch we will have a raffle for several items donated by vendors. There will be a several hour break for rest, recreation and sight seeing. The party group (all that wish to attend) will meet at the Hoffbrauhaus for beer, food and friendship from 7pm until ?

Saturday evening party: Hoffbrauhaus , Las Vegas, 7:00pm (no host) (be advised that parking is terrible at this corner) This is just a get together place, some may want to sight see or go to a show. Feel free to do as you wish. It's Vegas Baby!!!!

Raffle tickets will be available Friday evening, Saturday morning and Saturday lunch up until the drawing starts

Vegas 8's and Sin City Rotary will be offering a T shirt/beer mug combination remembrance for sale at the meet. Try and save $20.00 to purchase one of the remembrance combinations. The beer mugs are complete and ready. A final printing pic of the Ts is some where else with in this post. In short the T have a printing of the advertising pic and the mugs will have a print of a design made up by the designer of the main pic. I will post pics of them soon. The sets will be in limited amount of 70 sets and available on the Friday evening meet. There will be extra T shirts available beyond the first set limitation

I was up there for www.gonemoab.com. It was great, I am actually on my way back now Long *** drive towing a Jeep Yes, we took a Jeep to a Nissan event, haha. My dad offroaded Nissan's for years with these guys so they allow his Jeep to go.

 

I just booked my room for the Vegas meet- We are staying at my brother's house in Henderson, lol.

Just saying hey and it was nice meeting you guys in Vegas!! Yeah it lkicked my cars ***. I broke down in Utah towing it to salt lake city. So I gotta fond a place to crash till it's fixed
