Yeah, Piggy is like an old friend. My favorite, too.

Look what showed-up today:

I just might have to install these babies this weekend. Thanks for the offer of help, bose, but it looks like it will be a snap.

Thanks for acknowledging that, Darius. It was a pain in the *** to shoot- more than it should have been. Took me about 20 tries, with 2 different cameras, and several lighting set-ups, before I got that shot. I couldn't get close enough with the regular camera, so I ended up using the HD camcorder in "still" mode. It can focus so close that the subject can almost be touching the lens, and still have passable depth of field.

I'll shoot them again once installed.

No problem JT, and if you need I'm just a phone call away. That goes for anyone here too.

I just got my confirmation number for my BHR coil kit, it was delayed a couple days but I could care less. I can't friggin' wait.

Haha no problem Jethro. Props again hell i bet the place you got em from would pay for that haha

So im looking around for a place to buy the BHR coils but I'm only finding their reps in threads. I was looking for a website or soemthing so i could check em out and maybe get some definitive pricing and photos and what not but the one website i found was kind of a joke. However whats good enough for bose is good enough for me so i do wanna try them out but how the hell do i buy them? hahaha

And here we have them installed:

Bose, you were right, it was a snap. The only fussy part was making sure they were straight before tightening the screws down and buttoning it all back up.

I guess nobody's cruising today, eh?

If the rain holds-off, I may take her out later this afternoon. Looks like rain on-and-off all of this week.

I would help you out but I don't think there is anything I can do to get your license back for you . So I will have to live with my transmission for right now and you will have to just wait for your license to be reinstated .

Snowboard, I never got back to the computer until late, so I missed your post until now.

Can I get a raincheck?

I have to test those strakes. I swear I've got an additional 30hp now.

The strakes give you additional down force. Giving you tons more gripz.

Darius, The BHR kit is pretty pricey I got mine with plugs for like $560. But I won't have to change coils for many more miles than stock coils and they have a better spark overall. They are just a small group of guys out of AZ, who find the areas in which our car can use a little help and research ways to fix them. They have been testing them for months in their own cars and them mass produce them for us. The best way to get a feel for them is to contact their head dude in charge, Charles R. Hill. Ask him some questions about it to get a feel, he's a very knowledgeable guy and very nice. He always responds to my pm's too which is nice. But there is a bit of a wait on them right now cause it seems everyone is buying them up. They are all made to order and hand made.

I went for a small cruise last night around 12 little bit of rain not so great but who cares at least it's not snow.

Rain I can live with for sure.

Ya know what else is good though? BHR coils.

Check the engineering out. Good solid piece of hardware. Can't wait to put it in.

Raincheck accepted lol. I still have to fix my headlights so they point straight , anyone know how to adjust the headlights on a sport rx8 (meaning I don't have the HID's), I don't know if its the same for both or not and I feel like a dumbass asking but I didn't read it anywhere . Plus I have to find someone who can tell me what is wrong with my tranny . Plus I'm sure you got an extra 30hp with those strakes so I want my 8 in top condition before I do a run with ya .

I see...hmm...and replacing my coils will make my car sound like its running on buttered cream again? I dont know if I'd say it sounds like marbles in a can....more like chewbacca in a can. And it only happens after long periods of running or climbing hills. and its worse in a high gear. Either way i need to replace my coils and plugs. i just hope that fixes the problem...
