haha! Yep. I've been working on improving the street cred. of our lovely 8. You guys are benefitting from this as well, you know! As I continue marauding the streets, word is getting around and maybe people will think twice before picking on you, too!

Once I get my new actuator in (this weekend I hope), I should be able to hold boost higher in the RPM range. Right now, it falls to about 6psi at 9kRPM. I should be close to 300HP to the ground if I can solve this boost issue. Then the"ran wheel-to-wheel" stories will be replaced by "ate my rotary fumes" stories, and the "put a few lengths on" stories will turn into "couldn't see him in my rearview" stories!!

 

Damn my wife works this saturday, so I have our newborn, so I don't think I can make it this saturday. I will see what I can do though.

Most of the snow warning forecasts have been cancelled. I'll be there at 9am...unless the weather service has it wrong. Again.

 

It just started to snow in Los Alamos. I do not think that it will melt by tomorrow morning since it is freezing now.

How long will everyone be at the k&i diner? it takes about and hour and change to get to albuquerque these days and im definately not a morning person If I dont get to see anyone have a safe drive.

I was glad to be able to get off work in time to meet up with all of you yesterday. I have to agree with Ocho it was a great turn out. Even though the color schem was one sided for the most part. I am looking forward to another get together!

Thank you for the meeting, guys! I had a great time. Maddog's RX-8 is really a nice beast. When I sat in my car I started to wonder why nothing happens when I push my gas pedal.

you ought to come hang with me one night on Montgomery. It's a total blast! I took one of my friends with me last Friday night - she couldn't stop laughing it was so much fun! We picked on a couple of STi's that were out cruising together.

Sometimes I see the guys from RotaryRX out there. It would be cool to all meet up and have a rotary contingent! I'm the only RX8 out there!

I have not been to this track. I was hoping to go, but I don't think I will be able to given the short lead time. I'm told that there are no walls or barriers so there is less chance of damage if you happen to venture off track...which is a good thing.
