I'll go straight to the point. I need a new engine but I'm wary of buying another engine from mazda that could potentially develop low compression like the first one did at only 30,000 miles. Mazda quoted me $2200 plus core for an engine, how much more would one of your engines cost me including shipping both ways--given I have to ship my current engine to you. my car is a 2006 six speed manual transmission.

As we know for re-mans, the best is from Paul..and Mazmart.
What I like is the experience and workmanship which does not cost you more with Mazmart.

Superior craftsmanship, service quality, godzilla-proof shipping crates (it took me 30 minutes to open my transmission's one) etc are totally worth the price difference.
Add the fact that you can add to an already better built engine little "mods" to make it nearly bulletproof.. like their waterpump and oil pressure regulator and really, Mazmart is the way to go.

Paul,

What's the going rate for a Mazmart reman right now? I may be in the market for one in the near future... mine is showing signs of low compression. If it turns out to be that I guess I'm going to need a new engine, of course you guys are first on my list for remans.

Thanks

Thanks Paul, I'm replacing my ignition system first with BHR coils and new plugs to see if it doesn't help at all. If not, and it fails a compression test, I'll be in contact with you.

Your quote should be available within 2-3 hours. I think I have your postal code already from previous transactions.
