Awesome - goodies are always welcome!

On another note, up my rev limit to 9500

I also wonder why Racing Beat changed the APV and VDI opening set points, on their REV3 flash for the Streetport? Maybe they were trying to carry the torque curve out farther to generate more area under it...

Make several Dyno runs with it closed, then with it open, and then compare to where the torque curves cross each other and you have your setpoint.

That sounds like a interesting idea. We can do that on Dec 4th at Surgeline in Portland.

Sorta. There ends up being a lot of interaction amongst each successive port opening.
Rise-time also comes into play. You need to dyno in at least the first 4 gears to get an average.

if one had done an earlier session, would one still benefit from the newer sessions?

Yes, I meant to post that it wil different based on what gear your in, hence multiple Dyno runs.

Since I haven't received anything yet I'm going to assume that it must be turbo related .....

While my opinion might be biased, I wanted to comment on this offering because I had the chance to sit in session #2 of Jeff's web seminar.

Honestly, well worth the cash doesn't quite cut it. In all, you're getting at least 12 hours of total instruction with the ability to ask questions and get instant feedback. It's quite a lot of information to take in but with good notes and a clear understanding you should be able to tune an RX8 with an AP safely and bypass a lot of the hangups you'd experience trying to figure it out on your own.

Great stuff Jeff!

Did some other materials get sent out that maybe I didn't receive? Otherwise it seems rather straight forward WRT balancing the maf and injector calibrations properly

I suspect the injector sequencing we're covering tonight will add additional elements to the process.

We already went over that, but its affect will become more problematic as we increase load.

Seriously!

They are still flying around the neighborhood (it's 12:30), lighting up the mountain preserve behind my house with the spotlight.

Must be Klaatu running around up there...

Men in black were pacing back and forth all night pounding the floor above me like a herd of elephants ...

and not that I'm a fanboi with this particular outfit, just one more data point wrt our side discussion last night, not really intending (or wanting) to discuss it here since I welcome you to do your thing and I'll do mine ....
