the maps don't magically make the rx8 into a mazdaspeed 8...although they've never offically sold a mazdaspeed 8...

^^^ mine felt pretty quick even at 11.1 WOT. that was from a map Jeff gave me during the summer.
I wanna know what it feels like with the fuel trimmed out a bit.

 

I fully expect to shave 2 second off my 0-60 time and trap at 105mph, tyvm.

Hey jeff, how is the list looking now, are you still at like 60 people? lol, you need to send all your calibrations out at the same time during a Huge snow storm so no one can datalog. that should buy you some time to catch up! :P

I noticed that as well. Less rpm at same speed in the mid range. I was extremely happy

 

yeah my dyno sheet of my car i compared to some other stock 8's and in mid range i had a ton more Hp available id say somewhere around 40 hp i forgot but around those areas.. my cousin went on a ride with me without ignition solution and without cobb and the car felt ill it dd not move anywhere.. but 1 minute flashing cured most of it.. and he was like whoaaa it picks up muuuuch faster. but top end is bad still.. i had a 95-97 bmw m3 the oldeer body style pick on me and i barely puled him. i thnk with the new coils i would pull much stronger on top end.

 

BTW keep in mind my stock coils are going on 60 K miles =D

Jeff, does it matter at all that the calibration you sent me is v4.0.2, same as the previous?

So I take it this is still a base calibration (based on the "NOTE" at the bottom of the e-mail)?
