So Audie has been waiting 50 days? Which I think he/she is counting as normal days, not business days.

I've been waiting 43 business days and 58 normal days since confirmation on July 5th.

MM's website states:
You should receive a confirmation within 48 hours of your submission.
No problem; I received confirmation after only 15 hours.

However, it also states:
Provided you have followed the directions correctly, you should receive an adjusted calibration within 10 business days, Monday through Friday after receiving your confirmation e-mail.
Now since I followed the directions correctly per the confirmation email:

Thank you for submitting your calibration request! We wanted to let you know that we have received your submission and all your answers and data logs look correct. I have forwarded the information to Jeff so he can create your calibration.
it seems that I should have heard something within 10 business days. To date, I haven't seen any email and have been checking my folder on MM's site to make sure it didn't show up there.

That said, I knew it'd be a slow process but might I suggest a change to the website so that future users will have a better idea of what to expect? Perhaps 50 business days is a better estimate..

Folder? Mine says this:

The page cannot be found

The page you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.

I have tunes from 2009 when I was NA sitting in there. Have you used MM before? If not, your page probably doesn't exist yet.

What happens if your 6 months subscription runs out and you are stuck with partial tune?

This will not happen.
Either I will finish it or we will keep going.

People seem to have glazed over the "should" part of the disclaimer (or read it as "will").

I am, from the tuning aspect of it, a one-man operation.
The flood of (expected) calibration submissions was accompanied by an (unexpected) flood of incorrect submissions.

Fast; Reliable; Cheap;
Pick two.

Well, if you switch systems in the middle, it is a whole different story.
If I take the time to get you up and running NA and then, 15 days before the relative end of your subscription you change to turbo, that will be a new subscription.

I've already had several people pull that fast-one on me.
No-go.

That's understandable.
I'm on 4.0.1 and canceled further NA tuning not to waste your time. Is that count?

Thanks for the reply.
I got your message from the last calibration.
Already checked vacuum leaks, I hope it does not create more problems, but will review the FT long and short, while making new datalog.
If you can and not to waste time, please tell me that I need to consider in my datalog so that my data are correct.
Again thank you for your response.

My folder is active, grabbed the 4.0.1 tune, flashed the PCM, and the car runs great. But I never received the e-mail detailing the "v4.0.1 and up" instructions.

Are they posted anywhere? I thought I saw them.

You could download the MT tune from COBB for free just so that it works. IF you want a custom tune by MM you will need to pay him the $300.

Sorry...misread your post the first time. If you have an AT you need an AT tune...if you have a MT you need a MT tune. You can get them free from COBB or get a personalized better tune from MM...the choice is yours.

There is no free tune for the AT. Cobb doesn't provide one.

...And the heavens opened and it was said..."AT cars shall not need tuning!" :P
