Can't find an update in my mail on that day, and not in the completed/neXib folder on your site either. I even check all my spam folder mail, so seems odd.

Thanks a bunch Jeff, you are right. I had to manually delete cache, Firefox didn't re-read the page on just CTRL-R refresh (note for other users).

Jeff,
Where is this folder you're talking about?
I got the conformation email for submitting my first log 40 days ago and still no calibration.

Jeff I noticed in a thread that you said that the intake makes a big difference in the tune.

I was under the impression that the AEM cold air intake made alot more noise but had little to no affect on Power gains.

I wanted to know your take on this

Yes that one. Also I see you are in san leandr. Would you be interested in dyno tunning? I'm supposed to be organizing a dyno day and have jeff come out here to the sf area on the 21st of august. He was offering a $100 discount on the ap if you had it delivered at the dyno day. Not sure if it's to late for you on that one though.

I am still offering that discount until the 30th of this month. The link it HERE.
You MUST pick-up your AccessPORT at the dyno-day and participate in the tuning event to get this price.
If for some reason you do NOT participate in the dyno-day or do not pick-up your AccessPORT on that date, you will be responsible for the difference in price from the regular MazdaManiac AccessPORT pricing.

Hopefully, you will get the dyno-day organized for the 21st of August - I'll need the deposit by the 21st in order to secure the date.

Jeff I have opened a new thread https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.p...=1#post3632035

I hope to have the dyno location secured this week or early next week. I will see you on August 21st, I just hope there are some other people to help pay for it, otherwise its all going to be on me. Let me know how I can pay you the deposit. And if happen to get to my calibration request from last month I would be very greatfull

i accidentally pressed ok for my AP to load a tune into my RX8 but then i canceled it before it could start to load. Now my car won't start and the AP says that it can't connect to the ECU. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Run the recovery mode if it will allow it.
If not, you will have to send your AP and your PCM to Cobb to have it reset.

Jeff,

If i got an email saying

"Your calibration process seems complete.
Let me know if there is anything else I can do for you."

Does that mean my car is fully tuned?

thanks

Yep. You are hitting your AFR targets and you haven't made any indication of problems, so that's all there is to do.

ok great. two questions,

Under partial throttle every once in a while i feel a little hiccup or bump around 4k rpm's.

Also, every once in a while my car almost stalls when i let off the throttle. Is there anything you can do about these? My BOV is recirc'd

thanks

Can I ask you a question? Why didn't you mention that over the last few iterations of submissions?
I don't read minds and if you don't capture a behavior in a datalog, I have no way of knowing what is going one.

yay! i'm now not only an MM AP owner but I'm also an MMCCS customer too! I boost next Wednesday... paid up for MMCCS tonight (it's been over 2 years since I bought my AP!), grabbed the base 4AT FI calibration and will have it flashed for Dave when he does the install.

She comes home the Monday after next so hopefully I can run through the deadly questions and turn over my first set of logs by that Wednesday or Thursday.

Pretty stoked... It's a shame Cobb is shutting this down... they pulled out right when my local installer was gearing up to be a protuner.... bastards!
