No. The Innovate stuff doesn't read the CAN bus.
You can get lots 'o A/F data, though.

I hope you have better luck with your LC-1 then I did. I had two go bad, so I just reverted back to my original LM-1.

Did you have problems with updating the firmware? I read on Innovates forum that some were having issues, switched back to the original firmware and everything seemed to work fine.

No, it just stopped working completely. Totally dead.
They sent me another one, it worked for about a month and went completely dead. No serial port interaction. Nothing.

Perfectly. The car runs like a dream.
Rock solid idle, starts like OE and perfect (though a little rich) A/Fs and ignition timing in every load point.
We are going to put it on the dyno next week and fine-tune it.

(I was that Pettit 6 port owner)

It went great! The AP tune seems perfect and once in boost, holds such a steady 11.0 AFR that I almost don't believe it true. Have about 75 miles logged so far with it and no LTFT and STFT is also about spot on (+- only a few percent). Looking forward to some dyno tuning later next week.

I don't know if its me, but since bumping up the OMP output it seems compression is up. When I get off the gas, engine braking seems more pronounced than it was with the Int-X.

Idle is set IIRC at 1050RPM. 950 RPM idle also was okay, but only when the engine was already warm. Starting it cold with 950 RPM idle was unstable.

Hey Jeef, I'm on my way. So should be some info on the NA 4 Port shortly.
I'm going to sacrifice my car for the betterment of the NA 4 Port fans.
I'm off.

congrats, the SC tuning sounds great.

You guys are making me envious of being able to get the AP dyno tuned.

Yeah, but there is no shame in being jealous of the 3071R on the renesis.

I have it, and I'm still jealous of it. Wish I could have 3 of them on my car.

Getting back on topic, I'm running Jeffs 1_1a map and my LTFT is 0 and my STFT is 0 for three drive cycles now. Car drives excellent I might add.

Could you comment on how the car feels now as opposed to before? When I had the Int-x installed the difference was immediately discernable. Third gear really impressed me the most with it's amazing acceleration.

More throttle response for starters. The sound of the engine seems to hum rather than slog. It just seems smoother.

Just got back from MM's and doing a little test tuning. Funny but I noticed the same thing. The engine sounds quieter and it's a lot smoother.
More smooth under full acceleration.
Friday will be a dyno day for me and the Cobb so we'll see what a difference it makes on the chart.
We also bumped the redline to 8000 from the stock 7500. And it pulled real nice during those extra 500 rpm.
Now if I had a way to change the redline beep to 7750 instead of 7250 that would be great. Reflex to shift at the buzzer is not gone yet.

Ngorx8

Here is NgoRX8

RB CAI, RB Exhaust RP Cat and RE Amenya Header

Load is on left. His load rate is much lower than my RX8, but he is leaner and his trims are not zero like mine.

The third and fourth chart is my RX8

The 4 th chart is the same format as the first two

yeah i've been reading it...seems better to me than all the other alternative F/I kits out there. If I could get it tuned good with the int-x i'd be happy (just my opinion of course)

Question about fuel trims... Is it expected that they bounce around as you drive or should they pretty much always stay at 0?

On my drive to work this morning I noticed that under cruise or light load (basically most of my driving) the trim is always negative. anywhere from 0 to -5. I tried a bit of heavier load and the trim would change to positives around 5.

I'm using 1_1b right now because last night my idle trim was -2ish. After my drive this morning my STFT idle is 2 and LTFT is also 2 so I'm going to go back to 1_0.

I assume that it's safer to have the PCM pulling fuel rather than adding it. It will eventually learn itself into the right place anyway, right?

Awesome! Did you end up using a screen between the MAF housing and air filter?
