Don't get me wrong, it was fun working with you. I hand out my fair share to others too. Understand when its business its business. Same here.

I wouldn't hesitate one second to do business with you again. From my personal experience, it was top notch.

TN Question!

So here is a stupid question? The forums (initial post) indicates to download and use the AP manager and updater from the link in the post. If this is the case what do I use the software that comes with the AP for? Also if I just got the AP from Jeff it should be updated with all the firware and everything else right?

ramos: as with most devices you buy these days, the install disc is usually out of date by the time they package it.
Following the instructions in the 1st post is your best bet. It will install the updated software you need and get you started on the right track.

Chill out?
Have you read the thread?
Do you see how many times the same question gets asked of me over and over again?
Why do you think the first post is the way it is?
That post is a work in progress, constructed specifically for the purpose of heading off questions like yours.
Am I supposed to NOT be frustrated?

Believe me, I will NOT make extra work for you.
If I ask for something in my instructions, I need you to do exactly that - no more and no less.

Think of this like its open-heart surgery on your car. Get yourself into that mind frame. Be a team player.

Hey um? sir, I don't like the drama so i apologize if I offended you. You are the expert not me. The question was really directed to anybody within this thread. I look at it as one big family. Normally since I know you are a very busy individual I don't ask questions and when I do I PM you instead.

No offense taken.

I will make an example of people when they miss the salient points of the thread, however.
Just consider yourself the whipping boy today.
Tomorrow, it'll be someone else! (hopefully!)

On a more serious note, AP ordered 3/19/09, shipped 3/27/09. And here I was scared about long waits by you fools! Fast enough on this order at least XD

O.k. I'm gonna be the jackass who gets told to read thru the post for asking, but I've gone to the mm site and many treads without any luck.

So here it goes, what's the horse power gain using the cobb/mm maps on the stock MT set-up? (bonestock)

Thanks!

(don't hit me)

maybe i'm just going crosseyed

people have seen zero to 20 bone stock i believe.. lots of factors will determine how much (if any) HP gains you will see. The AP is much more then a slap on HP adder.. the increased OMP flow, cel masking, maps for all occasions, higher idle RPM.. this is what makes the AP really shine.

So, about 0-20 additional hp... I'm just trying to figure a way to give me a little more horse power now, and have it be cost effective, but at the same time something that would also be an investment with it being applicable with future mods. The fuel management also interests me, especially for fuel economy. I'm also looking to add a RB cat-back ex and mid pipe even a header. I'm assuming MM has maps for that?

Thanks!

The AP is one of those things that can be customized to meet any changes you make to the car.

on the discussion of HP is it possible to lose hp and Tq as you go through the map process? The reason i'm asking is it felt like i lost HP with the latest tune so I used r0tors Datacollector to see possible hp differacnces and these are the results.
Maybe my car likes being rich??
AFR's have mininal change but they are now in the low 12's to high 11's as opposed to the 11.1 above 6000 rpm's.

coils are good and so are the plugs.

Yes i know it's not a dyno but It's close enough. Right?

180+ HP- v4_0_3
180- HP- v4_0_4
