Hey guys, I'm in Wichita Falls, TX for a while on military TDY. I want to Seafoam my engine, but I've never done it before and I don't want to do it 'unsupervised' lol. Is there anyone that would be willing to come down here and help me out? I'd get you lunch or something and fill up your gas tank? Or if you have a better place to do it, I can maybe head up there, if I can wiggle out of some military stuff. Also, FYI, my 8 is in the shop right now so this would be in a little while (few weeks ish). Thanks guys.

Yeah probably should be fine. You just put half bottle in each service port on the passenrgee side of the lower intake manifold. There should be a nipple Cap covering each one.
Easiest way is to take air box out and disconnect the eshaft sensor right on edge of main pulley once you take airbox out and then the car won't start but it'll still suck seafoam out if the can. i ususally just use a length of vac hose on the nipple then into can like a straw. If you need gelp finding the eshaft sensor lemme know

If your car is manual trans you can pull that vac line that goes from brake booster to upper intake manifold. If you do that I would do 1/3rd in there, 1/3d in each service port. (Start with brake booster)
Wait 20-30 mins and start. Itlll smoke like crazy. Just keep it idling for awhile and once smoke gets a little thinner you can start revving a bit or take it for a smokey spirited drive lol
Also know sometimes if you have a cat, it can clog it from carbon and seafoam liquid/smoke passing through it. Also also you need to change plugs promptly after the smoke stops. The carbon the seafoam dislodges fouls them. Since your replacing the plugs too if you've never done ignition coils it wouldn't hurt to do those either. I think its O'Riley's that has one that has 100k mile warranty and that will be your saving grace because they take a **** every 15k or less lol
Sorry for the novel. You should really get a Facebook even if just for the group. I barely use mine for anything but rotary stuff now! We have meets, Texas does too! we have Oklahoma and Texas rotary decals and shirts up here!

If your looking for some great back roads I live in Tuttle and there are some amazing old pretty smooth highways around here. Tuttle to Chickasha to Blanchard is one of my favorites or to mince and then on to binger. Great view and really scenic although that one the road is a little rough. Anyone interested would love to get a whole bunch of 8s in on a backroad type all day cruise.
