Well next tuesday im gone to basic, hope everyone has a good time ill be back on in 5 months haha will be modding more after i get back so the car will be going thru a transformation! you guys better keep up with the meets maybe i can make one when i get back ill only have two weeks and then ill be moving so we will have to throw one together fast!

If I can remember correctly they are about 1 1/2 lbs lighter than stock. That was actually supposed to be 350 plus stock wheels. sorry. I may let them go to a local homey for $250 + stocks though.

 

Sad news this morning. Apparently some punk *** kid thought it would be funny to step on my front lip either last night or sometime last week (I was out of town) because my front lip is split in half. Don't know how much its going to cost to fix but its enough to just about **** me off. So, if anyone is interested, I may let the front bumper go even cheaper now since it will need bondo and new paint from a shop. Guess its the perfect opportunity to get the corner light holes fixed to I guess. Stupid *** punk kids. prolly some 16 year old punk *** I roasted in front of his whiney little bitchy girlfriend. FML.

Actually I saw the little punk bitch do it at BB, just didnt know thats what he had done at the time. Stupid civic driving teenagers.

I know right. I've also been shopping 02-03 Carrera 4S, but maintenance is way to high. 5k to change a clutch is crazy.

My son told me last week that he didn't want the 8. He said it was to much maintenance. So I figured might as well check out some Rx7's for me. I've still got a turbo kit on hold with a friend so we'll see what happens. Not set on anything for sure.

I have driven a 02 Carrera (good buddies) for a bit and I am not that impressed to say the least. Sure the interior has real leather instead of the pleather that most manufacturers use nowdays, but the balance isn't there on the car.

I laugh when I drive drive it as my 7 will walk circles around it and my cars not even heavily modded. Only sport car I will consider south of 100K is a ACR Viper, although you can't deny the new GTR. Other than that I am going to dig the rotary til I die I am sure. With some more mods I can be 450+ to the wheels on pump and not much can touch that when you weigh in at 2700.

Sorry to go off on a tangent. I love the FD and I never really realized how much until I spent alot of time around other sports cars.

 

yes they are the +38s, I tried to get the +25s, but they only had them in the FLX2s

 

Jbritt thanks, the lights look so badass with my silver 8, i just finished installing them it look me about forty mins, the little plastic screw things under the wheel well were annoying to remove but i got them out after some tugging and both bulbs work and thanks again

Hey everyone sorry I've been out of touch since the BBQ this summer. Crazy busy. So I had to get some new tires. Since I had an account at Hibdon here in the city I went there and they put on some Bridgestone Potenza RE040's. Anyone ever used these or have an opinion on them? I got 30 days to evaluate and trade them out if need be. The Hibdon's also show to have some Yokohama's on their website that I might consider.

Well, it looks like the car is off the market again. I convinved my wife to let me put the money into it that I want to using the money I will get from my sign on bonus with BP. However, I still have the front bumper available. It needs some repairs , but I am letting it go for $100. You will have to come get it or I can meet you somewhere, but $100 takes it. I will also let the spoiler go to a local 8 driver for $250.

So, to recap:

Car = staying with me
Bumper - $100
INGS+1 spoiler - $250 (Brilliant Black)

Hope to see you guys at least one more time before I move to Houston.

Re040 is better than the Yoko's. Keep them.
