If I had the $$$ it would be a twin turbo 20b fd all day!!!!. I love my 8 and would still keep it, but to have a sick FD is the dream.

I meet a guy in wallmart the other day with a FD Rx7, with a LS1 swap.... idk its cool but i think it kills the point of a "Rx" by using pistons

For a DD I would do the STI. It has room for the family.

Well my Jenn is getting a new truck since im getting the SC as soon as i get back so im not going to need the room for the kids, this will be my vehicle for spirited driving to and from work and track days when the 8s down, so its between a lotus exige, z06 or just a grand sport, and the sti and the reason for these choices are warrantys. I want something newer a porsche would be awesome but i want the gt3rs and its a little pricey

I agree with Jim out of the cars you listed the STI is the only one I would even think of getting for a daily driver. In the end your 8 isn't going to be out of commission for that long with the SC install, so why buy a daily driver that will be better at the track then your 8 even after its had the SC installed. Other thing to think about is weather, now that you have lowering springs in the 8 you will not be able to drive it in winter weather at all. And its the same with every car you listed, some of them aren't even that great at driving in the rain. Personally I would look into getting a small SUV with somewhat good gas mileage or a car with either front wheel or all wheel drive. Why get a car for a DD if it gets as bad or worse MPG then your 8? That is my take on it lol

Save your money from really modding the 8 and get a FD. You wont look back. Yes I have had FB,FC,FD,FE. The 8 handles beautifully and you cannot really experience it until you have it on a track, but the FD is an entirely different car. It is nothing but a raw sports car. There are no cup holders, traction control, or other jazz to be your nanny while driving.

I am planning on getting a bunch of the 7 guys together in december and have a good time. I'll let you know so you can come out and experience several different 7 setups.

Nice 7 Rotary. I want to give my 8 to my son in 3 years and build myself a bridgeported 7. That way I get both toys.

Thanks about the 7.

If you decide to go into bulding a RX7 and need help let me know. I build these motors (7 and 8) and can help you meet your goals and give any advice if needed.
