Got lucky and found a ZEX kit with the purge setup! buying the BHR spacer and hope to have it installed before IFO and car show season.

foregoing the 7K for the SC, this is a cheaper route for me now to fill the motor upgrade section until i can raise the cash for the SC.

Anyone have Nitrous on their 8 in OK that can give me some tips or i can check out your install?

Hello fellow Okie 8er's! havent heard from anyone from OKC lately or Tulsa, whats up?

 

I toasted my motor last week and the car is down for another long period of time.... and NO it wasnt the nitrous, didnt even get the chance to spray! Front rotor seal went, and now I HAVE to do the motor swap. 13B REW Turbo going in! complete strip down, paint engine bay and then install.

 

Sorry to hear about your engine. Can't wait to see the swap. If you decide to let the nos kit go let me know. I'm thinking about going nos until I can get an esmeril kit next summer.

 

thinking about keeping the nitrous kit, did it up right with the TBS from BHR all fittings AN red blue, with a custom bracket for the zex kit. got if off a local for a good price. if i decide to let it go, will definitely let you (Jim) know.

Kind of weird looking for FD motor parts to try and fit this thing in.... there is sure alot more possibilities out there for the FD REW motor.

Cruzin 39th tonight. Did not see any 8's??? Does anyone ever hang on saturday nights?

 

I'm moving to Norman in fall. And I'm excited to be close so I can cruise down that way often.

 

Glad to hear your becoming a sooner, JR. But sad that you won't be at Stillwater to add you to our Tulsa crew. Hope to get together with some OKC crew again soon.

 

I would be down with cruising to okc on a Saturday night to cruise with the okc peeps down 39th nice drive from tulsa for us and then cruising in okc...fun! Hoping to install all my new mods this coming weekend...but maybe we could the following weekend?

Lol James. My car goes into Carlos on Monday. I've either got hub,lsd, or half shaft issues. Its popping and grinding on turns both ways and knocks sometimes when I get slack in the driveline. Because it's does te ing both ways. I think it might be my diff.

Anyone know who drives a grey 8 with rims and exhaust? I know its a vauge description but I see it drive by my work on Expressway everyday and I was curious.

 

@Tgibson12" I know Jr. has a grey 8 with rims.. and an exhaust, wouldn't hurt to know what expressway it was though.

 

I live in ada so I don't think it was me. But I will be moving to Norman in august for skool. Speaking of, I went to enroll today and a shinka purple-ish (idk what the color is called) drove by with a carbon fiber hood, I think lowered either that or he had really heavy passengers and they also had a huge antena on top of the trunk. No idea why.

 

 

I drive a Silver 8 down NW expressway everyday past Rockwell. No rims though.

 

New member and first post after reading about every thread in here. Anyways just saying hi. Just got a pearl white '07 GT about 2 weeks ago. I'm from Tulsa, got a BS in Biochemistry from OU, and I now live in OKC. I'm planning on getting a Racing Beat Intake soon. I'm on the fence between Racing Beat or GReddy SP2 exhaust. Anyone recommend a good shop in Norman/Moore/OKC?
