/sold car - lofton1987 is the new owner and I have a feeling you'll be seeing him cruising around and making a lot of noise on the SW side of Tulsa.

Hey you guys just wanted to extend the welcome to the event! I know it would be a bit of a drive but I think you would really enjoy the roads that we will be driving on (bunch of hill country twisties) but if you are interested in the event then check out the "official" texas 8 event thread that I will be posting in a little bit, it will have all the info you need. Along with the cruises and dinners with other RX8 owners we will be raffling off prizes that have been donated to the event from Mazda dealers and RX8club.com forum vendors. Also if you are wanting to take part in this event then you can always roll down there with myself and the rest of the DFW 8's. If you would like to check out video and pictures from past events then please check out-

www.thetexas8.com

or if you have any questions feel free to PM me.+

Thanks guys!

I've seen quite a few myself. None of them really look like enthusiasts though. I think i got a nod from a WWP the other day though.

There is another Mazdaspeed WWP around though. Not sure who he is.

I saw a hideously tacky BB in OKC last weekend. Had every bit chromed out stickers and all. Yikes.

Thanks, Jbritt. I added a tsunami front bumper, Silver CF eyelids, stern st8's, blue slotted/dimpled rotors, and painted my calipers. I have a BHR ignition and Walbro fuel pump on the way.

I really like your new wheels. I wanted black momo v10s but when I got the money gathered up they quit making them. eventually I want either black Volk te37 or dark bronze work cr kai. Turbo is of higher priority tho.

Just bought my 04 silver 8 last week you'll see it going up and down NW expressway every weekday. Well as long as it's not freaking snowing like today...

Looking forward to warmer weather so I can get out and drive!

Its great Tom. A buddy of mine in Louisiana bought one this summer and we spent a couple hours installing it. Started right up and sounded amazing. Very good response and smooth idle. Look up Quinchu here on the forums if you want to get some more specific information.

They have been in for about a month now. It is like a night and day difference. I have more response and I gained about 3mpg. Some of the mpg could be from removing my cat and putting my race pipe in though. Definitely a must do, especially if you are going FI.
