edit: on another note, playing Forza 2 last night I won a Mazdaspeed Miata. So when I went to buy upgrades for it, I noticed a little engine icon, and upon further investigation it was a 13b REW! (maybe this is old news, but I didn't know that would be in there). So now I'm racing along "the ring" in a 378hp (for now..hehe) 1700lb rotary powered Miata.....dang I looof this game

 

your statement sounded to me like you meant 17's in general. But whatever, I'll just have to agree to disagree on this one, and leave it at that.

 

Well let me clear this up a bit...all the BBK's for the RX do not allow you to run a 17" wheel due to clearance issues. Other BBK's for other types of cars do allow you to run 17" wheels because they either shipped with 17's or 15's from the factory.

You can change out to a different setup and go to a smaller wheel, but if you move up to a BBK in the RX, you cannot run with 17" wheels without having fitment issues from what I have researched.

Not yet...As soon as I get them out I'll probably give Avenger first dibs just cause hes a track *****...after that to the locals...

I'm likin the progress sways simply because the adjustment will help out when I get the cuscos...the RB is nice but the lack of adjustment might become a problem later on...admittedly not until MUCH later on...if ever...but I like to have options...

 

Aw shucks no prob. What benifits do the adjustable sways give you? Better handling?

 

Ha...I doubt avenger is gonna want em...dunno so you might still have a shot haa...

The adjustables help loading/preloading the sways...when doin suspension modifications it helps to make it as adjustable as possible so you can dial in what you want. Stiff front soft rear or stiff front and rear...etc..etc..

The RB's totally make a difference but as I said earlier I like to give myself options for adjustment so I can screw it up myself later on if I so choose. Different applications or setup make for minor differences on the track so adjustment to conditions is always a good thing...not that I expect to frequently be messing with it...

 

Okay its 3:30 am and I'm up. Yesterday afternoon I went to Gamestop to pick up a used copy of DOA4. I get there and I start talking to the sales clerk because he starts to ask questions about La Ocho. Of course by asking me this you immediatly open the flood gates. I go on on about rotaries etc, he didn't notice that he gave me a copy of DOA Extreme Vollyball. I get home pop in the game and the first thing I notice is Kasmi's bobbies! This game has taken over the last 15hrs! I was suppose to call Luisa and confirm for Saturday instead I'm despertatly trying to win more bikini's for Kasmi! I feel so dirty.

 

it's okay man, I spent 2 hours on my first paintjob in Forza 2 last night, it's actually pretty slick once you start learning the editor

Not bad, I am going to have to ask why you didn't show us an FC or FD or the 8 though? At least you have Volks on the car... Give me a few days and I'll hook mine up to the Internet and get the photos off of it.

EDIT: on second thought what would the volk layer look like if you moved it in front of all the flames?

All this Forza...I'm still playing Gran Turismo 4 on teh PS2...got muh force feedback setup tho...totally worth it...

 

heh, I still have EVERY single GT game put out, going all the way back to the Ps1 days, those are by far the greatest sims ever done, Forza/everyone else is just now catching up lol

oh, and since somebody mentioned it, the first car I started with was an FC, I have an older shot below, I've since changed to RPf1's and toyed with the color and such, i also put up another shot of the Charger, so the front shows up a bit better, like I said, I'm new to this so it's kinda' rough

there is in both versions, but I haven't gotten one in 2 yet The Charger I built for a specific race series called "heavyweight" somthing or other, it had to weigh at least 3800lbs, and so I had enough $ in the game to get it and went for it, there's a Ferrari 612 that gives me a run in those races though along with Caddillacs etc., at some point I'll have enough for the 8 then I'll be having fun with it
