Suprisingly quite a few considering near perfect track conditions (minus the insane heat). Unfortunately I was one of them but my off was on purpose to avoid the Z4 that had spun out mid corner and was sitting length wise in the middle of the track.

I went and saw the transformers movie last night after I got back to Austin. AWESOME! Felt like a little kid again.

 

if anyone wants to go check out the transformers flick I'd be down to go again, or maybe we can plan something for Bourne ultimatum, can't wait to see that one as I totally dig Damon's character in those flicks lol

 

Dude i'm totally down to see transformers. it was bad *** ... i felt like i was 8 again. awesome someness ... i had this stupid goofy grin on my face the whole movie.

 

I still need to see it...

 

y'all want to shoot for this weekend? HeatWave is in town and there's other events and such, and I'll probably have to work, but I'd probably be able to go Sunday and watch it again despite all that.

 

I'm down for this Sunday. Can't do Saturday, kinda already have plans.

hey chris what's up? long time no see and I won't make it out this year as my car isn't ready and plus I'll probably have to work anyway. As far as car washes go, might be pointless as it's supposed to rain all weekend anyway, but there are a few strewn along 290 on the way there if you're heading east coming from 35 or 183, there's probably some on Parmer Ln as it's grown alot over the last 1-2 years, most of the ones I remember seeing around there last year were touchless "laser wash" style next to gas stations etc., but it's been a while since I've been out there and a lot of new stuff has popped up there since. Hope that helps, I don't really hang otu on that side of town as mlk and montopolis can get pretty rowdy out that way, and my bright *** yellow car would probably make some new "friends" pretty quick lol

Hoping too, if not I'm shooting for Corpus in October, I haven't been able to make a single show this year mostly due to the car being repainted (for free..wooho) and then having other problems as well. (got a new engine now lol) But hopefully all that's done and I can start showing again soon, would love to scope out your car, haven't seen it since you put the turbo in etc.

yeah it's really a shame about this weekend, just ran out of time but it would have been a perefct year for me to compete, new engine, new paint, and what would have been a pseudo new interior lol oh well, I'll try and make it out if I'm not at work all weekend, if not then maybe i can make the dub one.

seriously considering it, got my eye on a radiator that a forum member is developing for the AT as well. I've no plans to boost my auto at this time, but I would like to do some stuff to help keep things cool as my next round of engine mods.

Well I got First at the show. Had fun and talked to another 8 owner, red with coilovers and mazdaspeed body parts. I think he is going to start doing more mods after seeing my car... lol.
