Oh, and someone was shot and killed outside my apartment complex on the 3rd. Another reason I've been kinda out of the loop.

Holy **** people have gotten rude around Austin lately it seems, or maybe this so called "lucky day" has people acting stupid. Every time I tried to go somewhere today to do some shopping type stuff people kept cutting in front of me in line or pulling some other bs.(This group of girls was walking behind me in best buy where they have that little rope thingie, I was headed to where it said "enter here" like most people, so they saw me do that and just totally went under the rope and got in line in front of me, then proceeded to act like nothing happened, I was all " that was awesome!" all loud and sarcastic and they were all trying to play if off and look away etc. a few people behind me saw them do that and I embarassed the **** out of them...heh...bitches) Between that (I also got cut in a 7-11 just trying to buy something to drink no less, wtf, can people not wait like 3 seconds before doing something all assholish or something?) While I was in best buy trying to find something, people kept crowding my space, or standing in my way despite me saying "excuse me" in a normal tone of voice etc. I swear it's getting to where you can't go anywhere anymore as "little" Austin has grown into a pseudo "big city". oh well, what do I know, I've never lived anywhere else as long and apparently EVERYone is moving here so I must be missing something

Canary you are a better person than me. I would have gone "GHETTO" on them. Was this the Best Buy on 183?
Mordo what's the name of your Apartment Complex? Did this happen at night, day, etc? Is your car running weird because of the CEL. If so what are the symptons?

Yes! I know what you mean Avenger! I'm not a damn mind reader! Tell me what the hell I did wrong!

Eh ... it wasn't even that. That I could deal with. I just can't deal with mixed signals.

best buy on 620/183, then not but like 2 minutes later the 7-11 on anderson mill. Here's what gets me, every single time someone is rude to me or an ******* etc. it always ends up being a female, every time someone has cut in front of me in line or pulled some bullshit traffic maneuver or practically pushed me out of the way to get/see something in a store, it's always a girl. I'd be the last one on earth to generalize, but damn man, looks like some sort of otherworldly force is trying to tempt me to the darkside or some crap.

Travis Station Apartments, was on the news, Fatal Shooting blahblahblah, around 4:20 in the morning on Tuesday.

The car is running fine, but it's about to get a swift kick in the ***. The CEL is on, the tire sensor light is STILL on and the tires are fine (i've ran into this issue before and they've replaced all sensors with new ones.. oh about 4 times).

**** is just getting ridiculous and with my work schedule/sleep schedule its a ******* pain in the *** to get me up and to the dealership to get things worked on.

Oh, and my tail light is a fish tank.. still.

I forgot ... is it an 05 or an 04? My 05 just hit 36k. I'm in the process of giving it it's first full complete tune up. I'm only 1/2 the way through but it feels like it's got a little more pep in her step today when I was puttering around.

It's an 05. Purchased Feb. 2006, new. And sadly, I can't really afford a complete tune up. Sigh.

nah, I'm stressed over trying to get my car ready for the biggest car show of the year, and one I've been working towards ever since last year, only to have my engine replaced 2 weeks before it happens and my interior hasn't even been started yet. That and people being ******** while I'm out running around etc., I don't have women probs nor do they get me down, I gave up on them years ago, my dog and my car are more reliable, more friendly, and easier to maintain

Mord, if you're only at 36k most of what you mentioned is probably covered by warranty, you should check Beasley South or Premier in Georgetown depending on your location as I'm pretty sure they could help you out.

Yep, you're still covered under warranty at 37k since mazda extended the warranty periods on the 8.

I'm doing my tune up myself. One step at a time.

loaded question but how many miles/years is the new warranty? I am at 37k. I need to upload a photo of my car about to float away, not really just a lot of water, from when I was in Dallas.

Oh and the tiger fish is awesome! amazing photo.

yeah, it's called Texas Heat Wave, I've been working and/or attending that show for over 10 years now, used to deejay it, was a judge for a few years, did parking, whatever. It's a HUGE show, gets coverage from all the mags, attracts people from all over the world pretty much. Last year it had over 1000 entrants and about 30,000 spectators and I got 3rd in my class. I used to be in a club the organizer was president of (custom miniz) so I know him pretty well, more info is at www.heatwaveinc.com
