Not sure what's up with the sensor. I think it might be having issues depending on temperature but not sure. My LCD that displays those warnings is temperature sensitive so it doesn't work when it's warm. When I went to class, my LCD wasn't working so I'm not sure if the sensor was working then, but later on when it cooled off a little more, it was working. When I drove about an hour ago, it wasn't working. I know it's still full so I'm not sure what else it could be aside from temperature unless the sensor is slowly fading or there's a issue with wiring. I'll just have to keep an eye out and see if I can figure it out.

sorry man... been away from the pc... but if it sprayed everywhere, check for a loose radiator cap, cracked reservoir, cracked radiator top, or a hole in a hose line

We had five at my house Saturday doing the shocks and springs but typically there are about 7 or 8 that attend regularly. At Pig Stand Saturday there were six of us I think (seven including the khaotic (sic) auto) and one 09+ that rolled through but didn't stop.

You should come out sometime, we welcomed a new member Saturday as well

CEL's stayed off for a bit until last night. The first was related to the ABS which I already knew about. 2 are related to the MAF or O2 sensors (LTFT too rich... better than lean I guess). The last was internal control module failed self test. That one seems like it could be annoying because some of the recommendations are to replace the ECU. Going to have to look into it a bit more though.

You need to get a data logging solution soon so we can really see how things are running. That will tell us a lot more. If you want to swing by tonight I can reset it again. Dumb question but you are running 93 octane right?

Of course. I might stop by... I would like to see if that ICM self-test code popped up again. I'm in limp mode and I'm not sure what caused that since the CEL has been on since last night and I know that I was hitting full boost last night as well as earlier today. 5 psi isn't enough!

This does make me wish I had my boost gauge instead of the speakers lol. I'd at least be able to check that vacuum and boost are correct, but oh well. Too late now. I'll definitely look into a logging solution as well... the more I think about it the more it seems like a good idea.

Yeah you need to protect your investment man. Boost, EGT, and AF gauges are a must IMO. Fuel pressure and a turbo timer are not a bad idea either. Actually that reminds me, Shinkamami won a breand new HKS turbo timer and a automoter boost gauge at the statewide meet, I bet she would part with it cheap since she has no use for it.

So I figured out what happened. When legend Mazda replaced my engine, they did the tb blockoff, just like I had it, only their version left the hose laying against the belts, slicing it open. Luckily, I had to refill my windshield washer fluid, or it couldn't been worse by the time I realized it. :/ bad Mazda. You'd THINK they knew better... 2 dollars for a new hose, 10 bucks for more antifreeze, and the satisfaction of knowin it was done right, later, I am relieved, and my 8 is happily drinking coolant again.

3rd Motor

I'll swing by the Pig Stand one of these wkends, right now my baby is getting her 3rd motor at North Park, low compression they say. But I'm wondering if she's getting the new Reman with the new OMP setting? Hard to see her go down but hope this will be the last visit. Hate taking her there, its like their (dealer) death can't shake it. But I will still keep her running.
