Great Biffs meet guys/gals. We had a nice rotary presence with 7 RX-8's, the FD, and three FB's. Oh, and a MS3 and a riced out Subie.

Yeah. Great Biff's meet.

Wouldn't classify it as a "mod" but I did just order an xlink kit so I can control my iPhone through the steering wheel.

Due for my first oil change which I will do after Easter. I have no idea whats in it now but after reading hours and hours of threads on oil, still confused but will be switching to 0w-40.

Car has a remote starter but no FOB for it. Gonna have that removed. Maybe try to contact the manufacturer first. I am not really sure what else I would change about this car ... its perfect as you can see from the photo's at Biff's

Well I did notice I am the only one without a plate on the front. I might have to change that before I get in trouble.

Its funny before I bought this car ... some of the reviews said it was a good looking car and others complained about the styling. What? If this car was any prettier, I'd have to wear a condom before driving it!

See everybody next time....

I have run only 0-W40 Mobile one since after the first oil change on the new engine. I dont think its a bad choice. I may switch up once the SC goes on. But there are many other threads to dedicated to this topic.

Looks like you guys had a good time at Biffs! I am looking forward to meeting you Gunfyter glad you had good time and welcome to the club!

True consider the oil topic squashed!

What is Biff's, like a restaurant bar type place?

I am glad you are enjoying it It was great to see you out there.

Mobil1 0W-40 is the perfect choice. See my thread on used oil analysis and you can see how well it tests compared to others. REDRX3RX8 uses it and tracks his 07' auto and it does very well even with his extended change intervals.

Biff's is cool man, there is a little bit of everything. The food is good too but even if you don't like Biff's food there is a Carl's Jr., and a Whataburger as well.

Nice man I'll see if I can stop by next time. I don't get off work until 7pm and y'all are about an hour and a half with traffic (I think).

How late do you guys stay there?

Yeah you probably wouldn't make it man, try and get off a little early if you can. It is located on the north side of town right off of 35 so the drive typically wouldn't be bad but on a Friday you never know.

That's easy!

The first 2 guys park sideways taking up a total of 7 spots (dunno how many spots you need) as people show up move the car diagonally until all 7 spots are filled.

Thats what I did at the LAX meets, though people never caught onto the idea and thoguht I was just being a showoff.

I thought my nitrous bottle was empty. Brand new Mustang GT with paper plates found out it wasn't He still edged me out but only by half a car length or so, he wasn't expecting to see me next to him Fun end to a great day

Now I just need to figure out why grungepup keep beating me doing third gear pulls.

, nope. Both of us in third gear he just pulls on me by more than half a length in the upper range. We are both equally modded for the most part so I am hoping it's just time for a plug change.

Its becuase you don't have rear aero flares.

I wonder what would happen if I tried a 3rd gear pull, against you 2... My tunes all fubar now, I umm, well I left my APV stuck open (opps).

Jeff was very puzzled as to why my car kept wanting more fuel.

I'm going to install my wide band next week and reload the tuned map to see what my AFR's are at.

That was without nitrous, right? Assuming so, but wanted to make sure.

I'm up for a 3rd gear pull

Yeah I heard a knocking in the APV area the other day at idle and it went away but I suspect some SSV or APV issues even though it seems to be running okay. I was having a blip in the power band at 6,000RPM that was apparent in the datalog but that went away. No CEL's but we shall see.

Yeah without nitrous for sure I'll have to wait for the turbo to go on and use the nitrous to beat your beast.

I was busy today I still have a lot of work left to do, (such as removing the remainder of the air ride...ugh) but I got some great help and we got it done, car drives pretty rad now, I took it down 2222 and some other familiar twisties and noticed I gained about 5-10mph through them compared to my previous setups, with everything still freshly installed I didn't want to go to crazy so I could have probably pushed it a little more to boot.

so Stance gr+, hotchkis sways, and whiteline endlinks= me being stoked

(and I probably do need some spacers up front, probably going to try some 5mm or maybe 10mm at some point, it's on my list lol)
