Alright, so who I passed up today?

 

I want to remove all the emblems except RX8. Has anyone done this, is it tricky?

 

It's easy. A little bit of heat and some fishing string.

Just search on YouTube.

 

Not tricky at all. I've done it, but you will have holes where the Mazda goes on the left. Have to be filled and painted. Fishing line is your friend.

I definitely remember. Looks good now. No one needs to know its an rx8 anyway.

 

Who's going to drift event next sunday?

 

It'll be hard for me to take a Sunday off till late June / July.

This Saturday I will finally be putting on my Megan Racing rear control arms and doing another alignment. Maybe after that I'll go try the drift event out.

 

I'll make some more tonight. Been working some magic lately with that vinyl machine. Been gettin pretty good!! I made several rx-8 stickers. They are going on my calipers as soon as I can get them painted yellow.

My boy said he seen an Rx8 with a v8 in it run on NOLA speedway, I think he's full of it... I might be wrong, does anyone know about this mystery 8 with an 8 in it

 

There is an RX-7 that runs with a V-8. Hadn't seen an 8 at all yet. Speaking of engines, I can replace engines for anyone that needs it. Ray Brandt Mazda charges $1881 for labor and $2001 for the engine. I can get the engine for alot less and can do the labor for half the price. You know I don't hardly ever see RX-8's anywhere. There are a couple on base, and one in Belle Chasse, but never see them like 1.3 LOF does.

 

It just doesn't seem right to put a v8 in any of the rx models. Isn't that rotary sacralig.lol....... I have been seeing 8 alot more latly. I don't need my engine replaced just yet, But eventually I'll prob need a rebuild.

 

I've seen a few fd's with v8 swaps and they all looked like ****.

 

I haven't seen one yet but just the thought seems retarded.

 

I removed my badges today but their still a lil outline their. Does that ever go away?
